Mulberry House Christian Fellowship

Cross Fell is the centre of the UK geographically speaking and as such is very strategic. It is the highest point in the Pennines and has views over to the Lakes, Yorkshire, Cumbria and many other places on a clear day.

Our interest on this occasion was to pray over the watershed here located a few minutes down from the summit of the fell. Here the streams either run into the Irish Sea on the west or the North Sea on the east. The Tees and the Eden both start their respective journeys here. We also wanted to pray for East/West relations in the UK and abroad and to pray for spiritual authority in the airwaves over the area. There is a radar station on the top of Dun Fell just opposite on a clear ley line with the summit of Cross Fell.

On the summit we prayed for God’s new season of righteousness to appear – this Passover started a new cycle of 28 years of the sun. Jewish people believe that this was the same position the sun was in at Creation and also at the Exodus from Egypt. This new period marks the time when the Messiah is to return. We prayed to be aligned with Jerusalem and Israel and that there would be change as the sun of righteousness himself begins to rise over the UK.

We felt much new age influence in this area and prayed to take authority over the mixture coming in. A family group from the local area arrived at the summit at the same time as us and began to talk about the education system which is distinctly confused in their local school in matters of religion! There was a feeling of staleness over the immediate area so we prayed that the winds would blow away stale air in the dark corners. A feeling too that this was for churches and for local government.

We prayed for joy to come too on the airwaves and into the hearts of the people of the area. It feels as though much has been robbed and stolen in this area and that people do not know the joy of the Lord at all.

At the watershed line we poured out salt for cleansing of the waters and for a new season to come in the Spirit. As we prayed opposite the radar station here we saw a glider overhead and felt to pray for God’s people to be able to soar on the winds of the Spirit. We prayed for the watchmen and sentinels to be like stealth bombers in the region and for the watchmen anointing to increase. Just as the radar station is supposed to alert the nation’s security systems of intruders we prayed that in the Spirit there would be plenty of watchmen to pick up in the natural realms and in the spiritual any threat and danger to the land. We also prayed to expose sin in high places and to take authority over twisted and perverted communications. We prayed that the ley line would be broken and that the enemy would not be able to pervert and twist and manipulate communications. Thee was also a feeling that the watchmen in the radar stations were missing many things – change is needed here too.

On the way down we met a lady who said she had heard music. We had been sounding the shofars and singing as we went but we felt there was also angelic help. The banners are just beautiful in the open air – we used the joy banner, the wild geese and the goose flying out of the darkness into the light.
We have asked for some signs to encourage us in what we prayed – keep your eyes open because God likes to surprise us!

I knew something was up when my time system started to act up. First the bracelet on my trusty, battered and scratched watch which had been climbing with me, visited many nations, left on numerous pulpits and rocks suddenly snapped. Very disorientating as I was in the middle of a prophetic weekend where I wanted to keep an eye on the time. Never mind, I was given another which I liked very much and it was doing well. When I wore it for its first visit to Israel it stopped on arrival. This time I did start to wonder what God might be doing and thought I had better listen. On getting back to England I discovered that my third back up watch had also stopped in sympathy with the other two!!
Then we discovered in Israel that this was no ordinary Passover -it was a new 28 year cycle for the Jews where they say special prayers, believing that the sun every 28 years returns to the spot it was in at Creation. God is shouting to us loud and clear.
It’s to do with the sun of righteousness too is rising with healing in his wings! We are in a time of Daniels, of judges and justice  – we have been here for some months now and we have an unusual authority to command that justice be done and that things hidden be exposed.
Use it for the media  -we can shout out that the truth is going to be shouted from the housetops. Unrighteous and biased journalists can be removed and those who are wanting to present the truth can be raised up at this time. Governments can be led to take a stand for righteousness. When God’s people demand justice expect results! You might have to wait to see the results  – Daniel too had to wait for his answer to come through – so will we but the answer is on its way!
We have been learning about deserts too – in the Negev desert.We are a bit short of sand deserts where I live in the natural ! Did you know that there is enough water underground in the Negev to last 800 years ? Getting to it is the problem. Did you know that the quality of the water there  -it’s salty – makes cherry tomatoes sweeter? Miles and miles of greenhouses in the Negev came as a shock to me but it’s true!
Anyway what does the desert mean to you? For me it’s place of stripping, it’s a place of letting God speak instead of  us yakking on so he can’t get a word in edgeways, it’s a time for prayer and drawing in to God’s heart, it’s place of military training and equipping for God’s army, it’s place of community, a place of resistance to the institutions the world and the Church have put in place, it’s a place where we make our kingdom choices for ministry, it’s a place of refuge.. It’s important! The deserts are going to blossom with communities of believers who will link up with one another in the nations and raise such an altar of perfume and praise the desert Bride will be glorious again. Israel will pioneer desert agriculture, drought and water management as never before and will actually sell some of her know how to nations which are currently her enemies. Water wars will hit the headlines big time.
Watch the Sinai  -it is going to be given back to an unwilling Israel at a future point and will be like hot potato. This area is a huge natural bridge between continents and is acting like a huge magnet attracting radical worshipers. Why? Because it’s God’s holy mountain and it still calls out. The problem being of course that it calls ALL manner of worshipers – hence the increasing number of radical terrorist groups here plotting terrible attacks on civilian populations. You might not agree with them but they are radical and they do worship. Other problem – their worship system is very legalistic. Why? The Law was given here. It affects those who come here.
What about the prophets? They too will have to run for the holy mountain to hear that gentle whisper from the Lord. There will be a rush to the desert in end times and communities rising up again in desert style. The desert move is not finished   -it is going to know it’s finest hour and complete it’s task. God is raising up a new order of Nazirites  – Messianics and Gentile believers who will form one stream eventually and complete one kingdom task.
Don’t forget to pray for Egypt  – interesting isn’t it that Egypt worshiped the sun so much ? Her national Church is rising. She will need help to deliver the multiple babies she will birth at this time. Her government is taking a stand. Her church is taking a stand. Watch the Copts rise up and fulfil their destiny. Keep an eye on the old centre of Alexandria because she will be a centre for the Lord’s people once again. Discipling, signs, wonders, revelations. A place of potent prayer and healing of conflicts in the region. Keep a prayerful eye on those who work in the hotels  -there are some radical, humble Christians here who are praying for safety in Egypt and also some other cells with quite a different agenda.

As for us here in the North East of England we are having a wonderful time in worship with the Lord. The sense of His presence is overwhelming and we don’t want to go home. The sense of oneness in Him is coming more and more clear, the need to be deeply joined together as Jesus’ last prayer for unity in John’s Gospel. You can’t artificially create unity we have discovered. We are all too different, very fiery too in our characters and prone to our own opinions! Maybe you are too! But when God comes in such love and holiness we don’t seem able to manage to talk about our own opinions any more!
Pharaoh is not keen on letting us go -some of us are exhausted with the strain of crippling compulsory shifts which leave us exhausted when we do get to our joint meetings  -or we are just being told that we have to work or lose the job. It’s not easy. The rest of us are facing unemployment with 600 applicants for one job where they can pretty much demand the hours they want. So some are exhausted and others have plenty of hours to worship God but no jobs or money either! Wow have we prayed! And bound and battled. And Pharaoh’s heart is getting harder and more unwilling to let the people go. Yet we are sure and certain that God is permitting this to shake us free from the slavery of this world’s system .We doubt the early Roman church -a bunch of slaves from all over the empire got time off on religious grounds to attend church on Sunday either from Nero ! We have a battle to win here in the NE  – we tend to get affected first by adverse economic conditions  -well we want to be the first this time to be able to speak and witness at first hand what God is doing to get us out of the pit ! If this sounds brave and dramatic to you – it isn’t! We just don’t have anywhere else to go!

God told me in Israel that he is sweeping the land with a broom of holiness  -a very appropriate picture for Israel in the process of sweeping out the old leaven for Passover. This is not just for Israel though  -this is for everbody. The religious ones will get the urge to “work harder to get holier “ and will just hate those who are not interested. This will lead to some heightened persecution but God will use this to set some key Orthodox in Israel free. The pressure will be so intolerable that they will jump to safety. Expect too the down side of this with other religions’ radical groups who will react to the broom by making already difficult living conditions even more strict and punitive in their efforts to be holy. For our group in Israel we felt this holiness of the Lord asking us to be silent and hear Him. As if so much that we had known and prophesied was irrelevant and that another time is beginning where we will not so easily prophesy without seriously seeking the face of the Lord first. Flattery, twisting the words to suit, pleasing man , our own agendas  -the Lord is dealing deeply with prophetic hearts. Awesome in the true sense of the word.

What else ? A huge emphasis on bringing a corporate prophetic word and most of us singing our words in worship. A battle over sounds and colours in the heavenlies where everyone does their part. Sometimes there are no words at all – just the sounds but we see what the Holy Spirit is wanting to do each time. We step out and then later on we get the explanation.

Watch the islands  -they are not always in our news as they are so tiny but they are a sign for End Times events . Watch Martinique and Guadeloupe  -there have been riots over food prices and joblessness and this is just the beginning. Watch Germany  -one of our community sees Germany being greatly accelerated in to God’s purposes.

Geneva has been much in the news with the walk out of so many delegates after the speech of the Iranian President. Geneva is the capital of human rights and compassion but it is only an hour away from Evian les Bains where the refusal of our nations to act to protect the Jewish people led to the Holocaust. This is a battle with Humanism and the same spirit of radical Islam which was behind Hitler. Humanism wants peace and nations to be nice and tolerant with one another. It is not going to happen  -watch now and pray to see what will happen now. Humanism has to be toppled  – it is not an option for us as sons and daughters of Zion. It can do some good works but ultimately it cannot hold back the flood of hatred in this world and it too will have to change to survive.

We are in a watershed time  – you can either retreat from here and go into your shell hoping Jesus comes back fast or see what God wants from you in this new time cycle.

I am just catching up with what God has done recently. Normandy was a joy  -we looked at changing faces of Church with a great group of folk and looked at ancient mantles which are available to us still today when we know where to look. What do we mean by this ? An “ ancient mantle “ is an anointing which drops on  a particular person or people group at some point in human history and which often does not end with the demise of those folk  -rather if we are willing to come again in centuries after we can cleanse, take on and run with what our forefathers knew but God is giving us in this day a finishing anointing to go all the way with that mantle in our generation.
Not much time before going on to St Etienne for a teaching on the importance of having a pure vision for the Lord and dealing with generational iniquity which holds our eyes captive today. First time I have taught this one but it was very illuminating to pardon the pun. Folk reported the Lord having healed painful traumas and areas where eyes had seen cruel or violent events. The Lord also told me that there are areas where the enemy has a right of passage through the generational line to pollute and interfere with the eyes. We need to go much deeper on this one .
Some wonderful understanding too of how cities interact together. Folk from St Etienne, the city of the blacksmiths and some from Toulouse, the city of communications and the heart of France came together in the Spirit. The eyes of our HEART are important  -if you hit the heart, you lose the revelation of the eyes. The blacksmiths need to put up burnished shields in front of the heart to blind the enemy and protect the eyes.
At home in Mulberry House we have been encouraged by seeing many things revealed to us being in the news. We noticed China wanting to put into the world economy huge sums of money  -very much in line with the word received that China was going to overflow her borders. The same overflowing though will bring about End Time events good and bad. This same overflowing will cause the Chinese Church to be released to her destiny like never before and bring her back to Jerusalem. That Great Wall will be breached.
We have had a few warning about rest and shifting responsibilities too. I have called it Wild Geese, Zulu Drums and Suckers   -the whole word which is a corporate one is enclosed below.

Burdens are shifting shoulders ;

The wild geese were wiser than many of us in their V formation ! The places changed, the leaders were relieved when tired and the hurting geese were attended to. God is saying that too many are tired because of the people meant to come and relieve them not being there. This has been as much a reason for major ministries crashing as the refusal of leaders to relinquish control. I don’t know how you all of you out there operate in leadership. We are working on a wild goose pattern where the five fold ministries bring the saints into maturity. It’s hard going at times but we are getting there and the saints are being released into their anointings step by step.
Shoulders mean authority. The keys are on the shoulder of Jesus. Even the army marks rank and authority by insignia on the shoulder.
The challenge –  are YOUR shoulders ready to bear more responsibility ? If you want to grow in authority they will have to.

One of our community had a great picture of a tiny remnant of people facing a huge force of very angry Zulus. Needless to say the Zulus had the clear advantage. BUT the strategy employed by the heroes in the film was to create two waves. One line of folk would stand up and fight but would then would kneel down and rest while the second wave came to take their place. Do you see the spiritual dynamics ? A clear time for rest and warfare, intimacy and strategy coming out of that place. The saints taking the place of the weary ones.
Do you need to get down on your knees or stand up right now? !
Is your balance right?

Watch your heart!

We also had a clear picture given us of a heart which was not beating correctly. There were blockages in the arteries and the extremities of the body were turning blue from lack of oxygen. Message  -watch the state of your heart urgently ! Watch those who are isolated and are turning blue through lack of love. Watch the stress levels of your lives. Remove the blockages  – hard fat deposits build up over the years often linked to  a bad diet. What do you feed on  -physically and spiritually ? Gossip, rubbish ? Do you get  a regular work out in prayer and intercession ? Do you hold on to resentments and anger ? Do you expect to be waited on hand and foot ?
We’ll see you in the gym !

Drums  -not necessarily Zulu dawn !

We had a picture of a drum being tightened, expanded and extended before being refastened very tight. Drummers will know what we mean. The Lord is tightening us so that  A NEW SOUND CAN BE PRODUCED – yes again the Lord is interested in the sound you make.

Narrow spaces

We are coming through a very narrow gap  – one of our folk saw it – and we are moving through one by one. You are so confined at the moment with one person behind and one in front. We can support one another BUT each person has to make the decision to go through by themselves. We are again going through the eye of the needle , through the fire . Remember though that the Lord is behind this with much joy. He has a MUCH bigger place for you and that there will be a great joy in coming through. We were given  a picture of some small fish being released into a bigger expanse of water. Even the goldfish grows in comparison to his bowl ! We are being moved on into  a bigger place so that we can expand but before you can expand you have to move through  a very narrow channel to arrive in that bigger place.
Suckers on roses ;

Are you a gardiner ? I do like my roses and it is time to prune ! Do you know what a sucker is ? It is a seemingly healthy and strong shoot coming from the base of the rose which needs CUTTING OFF. The Lord has been telling me about the necessity of cutting off spiritual suckers. How can you tell the difference ? The sucker NEVER produces flowers or fruit BUT it will, if neglected take the cultivated rose back to wild, weakening it and ultimately taking it over.
Wow ! We too need to allow the Lord to prune and train us and we need to allow him to cut off those things, those relationships, those mindsets which are sucking the life out of us ! Get real ? Recognise that there are relationships and some seemingly gorgeous folk who drain and suck the life out of us and stop us fulfilling our calling.
Hard but you can’t take them through the eye of the needle.
Jesus is the true vine who has the right to cut off every single branch that does not bear fruit. Let him do it !
By the way, I think it also has to do with the mystery of iniquity. The Lord gives people choices to be pruned but when there is a creeping lawlessness and desire to do it our own way, the Lord then has to separate between His own cultivated and trained vine which takes its strength from Him and those branches which suck the life out of the saints. Very hard I know but it’s what I heard.
I’ve seen some good spring offers on secateurs if you are interested !

God wants to MULTIPLY but you have to have the unhealthy bits cut off first !

I am just back from Normandy on a great trip with friends. The weekend was one of godly closure so it was sad to be saying goodbye and prophesying for the last time over folk I might not see again but also a time of joy and expectation for the future. So many are being moved around and it certainly isn’t the clear cut thing we might like it to be. Clearly new alliances are forming from the partnerships of these last years but the moves ahead are very much contested in the heavenlies and need a lot of cover in prayer. So many of God’s folk are exhausted and the enemy does not want them to get to the next stage. The call for the Body of Christ to rise up and be responsible and disciplined has never been greater. The battle to enter into that rest of the Lord in Hebrews 4 is on the line.

At home we have a visitor staying with us who prophesied over us as a community that we were faced with a jungle of impossible situations but that God is giving us weapons to make a way through. It is quite true as we prophesy jobs and finance into being. So many need the impossible of God at this hour.

ISLANDS AND MARTINIQUE

The islands are a prophetic sign to us that the end times are here. WATCH WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE ISLANDS. Martinique has seen some riots and looting on a grand scale over price rises in food. Several years ago I had a vision of such scenes and that only the prayers of the women would be able to hold back this rising tide of violence. These are not one off scenes. These situations require strategic prayer.

WATER WARS

Time to pray for the water summits  -yes Ok it seems not so important to pray for water BUT did you know ? In Damascus people are having to buy water on the black market as there has been so little rain. The summit is in Istanbul by the way. Now this might not seem much BUT last year as we prayed over the huge Ataturk Dam in Turkey on the Euphrates I saw war planes overhead in the Spirit planning to bomb dams like this one. Why ? They were angry because this dam prevents water from reaching some parts of the area and antions downstream. Turkey could actually divert most of Syria’s water by turning the tap off. Turkey sells water to Israel. Lake Galilee hit an all time low recently. Turkey is in extreme drought.
Water needs can cause wars. Just look at the wells in Genesis to see how bad it can get. Just look at the words about crossing over the Euphrates dry shod or Damascus being destroyed to see this is important.
Not in the main news BUT watch these water wars and pray accordingly.

MOUNTAINS OF TRUTH AND FOOD STOCKS FOR THE USA

You may have seen some words form highly respected folk in the USA talking about judgement, riots, fires and food shortages in many places. We need to take this seriously. We cannot afford to say it is just the USA either. It will happen in Europe too. You may well be advised to ensure food stocks BUT also be aware that God is using this time to show us huge truth mountains which are going to stand like shining beacons. Some years back I saw unbelievable scenes in the USA where so much was attacked and destroyed BUT the tops of mountains were visible and when I asked the Lord what they were, He told me that it was His truth emerging from the chaos. Ministries which are and will be shining lights will be able to save many. They will know supernatural provision at this time. The mountain tops became like beacons beaming out the Truth of John 3 v16-21. The godly foundations of the USA will be exposed even as the evil reaches heights never seem before.

Here is a corporate prophetic word  to which all our community have contributed through worship, prophetic song and a series of prophetic insights this last week which I think describes the season we go through with the Lord. Not an easy word by the way but one which can be applies to us as individuals, communities and nations.

SNAKES AND LADDERS

We were given a word about a snakes and ladders board last week. We have had lots about ladders and snakes recently as a community. The snakes are the annoying places we land just when it seems we are about to have a promotion and a way of reaching the top, avoiding much in between. The biggest snake comes right at the end just before the end of the game on the board.

Snakes:-

Represent seduction, paralysis, hypnosis, strangling, false knowledge, becoming deflected from God’s plans. You can think you are right. You can kid yourself this is godly and even advantageous for you. Just look at Genesis to find out. The snake represents wisdom – we are even told to be wise as serpents at times – BUT as in Genesis this wisdom is perverted and used to make you slip far from God’s purposes.
NOW is the time to corporately crush the heads of these snakes.

Ladders:-

Represent escape, open heavens, open doors in the heavenlies, heaven brought to earth.

We are in a place of entering open heaven but the snakes have to be defeated. It’s ALL THE LITTLE THINGS which matter in the kingdom. All the little things you did not put right are like the little snakes you meet from and recover from. BUT if you do not deal with them, they will feed on the rubbish and become BIG snakes which will cause a much greater tumble. God’s kingdom is built up too of little things we do which add up to HUGE LADDERS AND OPEN HEAVENS FOR US when we pay attention. We are about to find out like Jacob did, that when we are running away to save our skins that God was there all along but we did not recognise Him  – WE KNEW IT NOT BUT GOD WAS THERE.
GOD WAS ALL ALONG PROVIDING THE ESCAPE ROUTE WHICH WILL TIE US INTO OUR TRUE COVENANT RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.

TRUE TENACITY

God is telling us to let go. Oswald Chambers said that what we so often think is admirable tenacity is only a huge fear of letting go! God wants to let us go free from the systems of this world and is providing horizontal ladders across the gulf to bridge the chasm. New financial provision is on the way, new trust and new creativity BUT we have to let go of that tiny root which we cling too as our last hope before tumbling into the chasm.
Underneath are the everlasting arms – we are about to find it out!

FIERY FURNACES AND THE PHOENIX

Snakes are afraid of fire! We need to invite our snakes into the fire of God! We are after all supposed to have authority over snakes and scorpions and now is the day to start walking in that fullness.

God is walking through the ashes of your disappointments and shattered hopes with resurrection life and fire. The phoenix is a mythological bird, known in many cultures who supposedly every 500 years throws itself into the fire and lays a new egg in that fire which becomes a new bird. OK – yes we know it’s a myth BUT there is a huge redeemable truth here. Jesus is inviting us to follow HIM with our lives and step willingly into His fire. His invitation to us is beautiful. He after all was the One who did just that to live again and to redeem others through that fire. Through the fire of false beliefs and mindsets and ways of doing things, through the mess of lost jobs, financial crises and health problems. When all seems ashes and cold bleak dawns, He comes and speaks His life. There is such a call for this at the moment.

Condition! It means taking risks, being sure of who God is and of His love for us. Daniel’s friends in the fiery furnace said that even though their God might burn them up and not save them at all, the fact that they believed HE COULD was enough because they were not going to serve the king’s idols anyway.
PERFECT LOVE IS GOING TO CAST OUT OUR FEARS IN A NEW AND CHALLENGING WAY

The phoenix is not real but it DOES speak of life throughout generations. We serve a generational God who is touching your family line and bringing out gold though the fires of generations. All which had its origins in Him will be redeemed and the “snakes” which dogged the past generations are being dealt with. There are ancient mantels right now which are being passed through the fires of purification. Where it seems that only cinders and ashes remain and stories in books, those mantles are being put on shoulders today able to carry through all that God has purposed.

Our God is a consuming fire and what comes out of these fires will be fruit to carry through eternity.

I am now home after visiting Exeter and the lovely South West of England. Not so lovely at Newcastle airport as I was snowed in again. I know the Lord is talking about releasing his word form the snowy heights into the valleys but this was just another reminder for me. Typically the snow had almost gone when we finally got to Exeter four hours late.

I was reminded about the violets of Toulouse again here in Devon. Devon too has violets   – they are already in bloom in sheltered places and have huge leaves to protect them. A Devon lady gave me a bunch of them with their roots to take home. It has really got me wondering before the lord though. The violets are the colour of the tribe of Issachar. They tell the seasons and the see the signs from God. The weather station for France was moved to Toulouse a few years ago. I was told that a similar thing happened here in Devon and that the weather station is now based here in Exeter. Also there are links with Concorde here in Devon. Not a coincidence I feel. Communications, signs of the times, advance warnings, shy violets of the tribe of Issachar. Another thing about these violets – they are deep rooted and tenacious. They seem innocuous but they have a strong sense of justice and will fight for what they know to be right.

Back home we are looking at issues of conception and pregnancy. God is giving out blueprints and strategies BUT you have to go up the mountain like Moses did. You have to be KNOWN BY NAME before God ie you have to be humble and vulnerable enough to let Him in entirely. When you do, like Moses did, God reveals HIS NAME to you i.e. He lets you into the secret place and into his secrets. Hebrews 8:5 reminds us that Moses could only build the tabernacle according to the plan revealed to him on the mountain. We are to take care only to build according to what is revealed on the mountain. Too many prophetic words are contaminated in the second heaven because we do not go to the mountain top alone or because we listen to too many other voices on the way back down. We can build. We are the tabernacle today. We need to be careful to keep ourselves and the blueprints pure – they will be multiplied later with all they contain. People who know true intimacy with God, who believe Him on that mountain top become pregnant with his purposes. The rhema word overshadows them and events happen. The prophetic word is useless without faith which causes it to happen. We need hearts like Mary and Abraham. Time to mix your rhema words with faith!

It is time to stake your life on God being ALL He says He is. This is very different from believing for only the things you consider the right size to happen. That only allows God to be a certain size in your life – that size you can cope with. He wants to become much more to you. Start to move out as the person you are called to be – unhindered by the mindsets which block you. It might sound odd but the person with the hang ups and the vain imaginations is NOT the real you. The person you REALLY are is FREE INDEED – start behaving as though the truth HAS SET YOU FREE instead of behaving according to the lies. What do you prefer anyway? Being controlled by the truth or the lies?!

Our prophetic school was fantastic yesterday afternoon. All our kids told us what God had showed them. We don’t exclude them – they come and prophesy too. God loves it when we have a corporate voice together. No more need for competition because everybody has their bit.

Last thing – we need to watch out for some witchcraft attacks at the moment. Witchcraft is rebellion. Witchcraft is illegitimate authority. You might find others stepping on your toes or you might be getting a bit insecure and find that you are stepping on toes yourself! Watch out and stay with the Body wherever you are.

I am currently in transit between Toulouse and Exeter between snow storms and airport closures. Toulouse was wonderful – the lovely red brick city with its violets. It is a joy to meet with the Christians here. They have a beautiful gentle prophetic anointing on them so unlike the warfare of our North of England. How we need one another to rub off and soften the edges. Toulouse and the area have been decimated by high winds and many trees were brought down as a result. They had had rain for about two months and this had made the pine trees with their shallow roots very easy targets when the winds came. A sign that the Lord is wanting us to have deep roots against the prophetic seasons and storms which are on the way?
The Airbus project is well underway here  -it is not lovely in the sense that Concorde was but certainly more practical and solid.. A sign too of the need of heavy transportation and solidity ahead. Toulouse has a real anointing for communications in the heavenlies and her intercessors are working hard with her worship folk to keep the heavenlies here open and allow God’s messages to go out over the nations and to Jerusalem . Interestingly enough the weather centre  for all of France has relocated here  -a sign that these folk are truly the sons and daughters of Issachar who can see the times and the seasons. Did you know that the stone of Issachar is the amethyst ? Even the New Age use it to tell dreams and fortunes. It struck me so much amidst the violets of Toulouse that their colour is violet as they too learn to warn France of the changing weather patterns in the spiritual as well as the natural.
Toulouse has many Jews. She has known times of persecution and great turmoil. Inquisition even on a huge scale. It has brought a fear and intimidation which affects the Church today. There is an anointing to help in the aliyah yet to come and also to move in  a healing anointing in a way only hinted at in her past. A calling to be redeemed ans honed. Her light needs to shine brighter still for the nations.

And now to the lovely red stones of Exeter in Devon. From the South West of France to the South West of England. Even the earth is red here in Devon  -it reminds me so much of Adam formed out of the red earth by the Lord. Exeter is a gate too, she guards the South West. The Romans were here as were the local Dumnonii tribe. I have sense of Celtic roots not unlike ours in Northumbria, a sense of the Church here being called away from her Roman past to a deep seated desire for freedom which will be intensely liberating.

At home in the North East in Mulberry House there is a strong call for the Bride to stand up and to let the Lord cleanse her of her stains. The huge sense of shame and unworthiness has to go  – it leads us to try to disinfect ourselves and avoid the work of the Cross. An absolute insult to what Jesus has done for us. How the enemy works hard to keep us in that shame and unworthiness. It’s actually twisted pride. It’s actually like telling Jesus His sacrifice was not good enough for us  – our case is so special, our unworthiness so beyond His comprehension that we cannot stand up for Him and accept grace . And of course it prevents us standing up as holy warriors in our North East because we are still so self absorbed with our shame and hurts. Just as well the Lord is committed to our healing and deliverance or we would be overwhelmed…

We have just had the most wonderful weekend at Mulberry House. Our French friends from St Etienne came to visit us – Florence, Claire and Virginie and Laurent. Laureline is already staying with Anne and Alwyn and now has dual nationality in two fellowships !
Flo’s them was the spirit of rejection and poverty, all stemming from a hard heart which will not listen to God’s faithfulness and trust in Him. This results in a hard heart and finally a lack of rest such as is described in Hebrews. Important stuff in these days of recession and fear.
Both fellowships had been on Daniel fasts which ended on the Friday at Sabbath sunset. We celebrated with a Sabbath meal and worship session together with Lauren and Andy from Mulberry House and Laurent from Abri all taking turns at the keyboard. We had prophetic songs, a great anointing and a great time sharing together in the Spirit.
Saturday we had a few visitors who came to share in the weekend. We had three great anointings offered us through Flo – one for fire, one for resistance, one for the Maccabee anointing  -complete with the banner made in France by Sophie. We had some super teaching together and many coming to a new place of authority and commitment to the Lord.

We plan to put regular updates on our activites and what we are all up to here in Mulberry House on the blog quite regularly. We hope you like the photo of Isaac who arrived three weeks early on the first day of our Daniel fast. He and Rachel are doing very well and we are verry pleased with the new addition to our community. we thought you might like to hear a bit more about what the Lord has been saying to us all this last week— read on.

Jonathan –

God is taking the blinkers off – we are wearing blinkers which limit what we see. Creativity is rising and new mindsets are coming in. We need to apply new ways of thinking to our situations.

Lauren-

Our thinking is the wrong way round – we need to bring heaven to earth – it is already done there. We cannot apply earthly mindsets to the heavenlies and expect heaven’s answer. Our answers are in the heavenly realms ready to be pulled down to earth. Maybe one advantage of humanly impossible situations is that it will encourage us to reach up to bring it down.

Debs/Anne –

Proverbs 13 says hope deferred makes the heart sick but a longing satisfied is like a tree of life. We need to prophesy the thing that is not into being ie passion in ourselves and in the region in order to have that longing fulfilled. If the enemy can take your longing – and he can do it through past hurts, wrong expectations, a poverty mentality, a sense of shame and unworthiness then he has won. Speak the passion into flames again for godly desires to be fulfilled.

Anne -

The army is rising from all directions and is hearing the call to war.

It’s a time for “firsts” – people stepping out to do things they have never done for the first time. Take a deep breath and do it!

Debs-

Heard “serendipity” – no ,we didn’t know what it meant wither. Debs looked it up. It means finding treasure in unexpected places. May you find it for yourselves!

Debs also feels to pray for the north gate of Switzerland – by our reckoning it’s around Lucerne .

Jonathan/Laureline –

Both attracted to Iran. We need to study more her history and her destiny. Jonathan feels a three year time span for the nation for the Spirit of God to work. We are currently on a Daniel fast – J thinks this fast will cause the Cyrus anointing to rise L says this is a beautiful nation and we need to understand better.

Anne-

Final word for this week. Praying for the North and heard “patents pending”. The Lord is saying that there are some new inventions – natural and spiritual to come out of the foundry of the north. Some are old ones which were good but never got off the ground and some were simply ditched or robbed. Some old patents are becoming available again. Invention is going to be the order of the day and if we are wise we will use the current difficult situation to break some moulds and step out of our old mentalities like out of dirty old garments. We are a treasure house for the Lord, just like the window of the second hand shop where there is much cheap tat but some absolute treasure to be found – unrecognised.

The Daniel fast ends Friday at sunset with a time of worship in Mulberry House. Not easy – we all felt the opposition from Day 1 but we are now looking at the news differently, thinking differently about faith and are looking forward to a weekend with friends from St Etienne, France and a joint two nations worship session Friday night.
