PROPHETIC REPORT ON THE WEEKEND OF 7 – 9^TH MAY

Mulberry House, Gateshead, UK

I have finally got round to writing a kind of report on the weekend! There was just so much to take into account and I am still certain that there are things left out. We loved having you all at Mulberry House and hope you had a great time in God. So many connexions were made and we will never be the same after all that happened. Thank you Lord! Many thanks to all who made the weekend a huge success – if I even try to name you all I will certainly not manage but just to tell you that you were all hugely appreciated. We only had one hitch at the end with the cancellation of one plane to Paris. The seven folk concerned got back safely the next day and we prayed that their employers would be sympathetic. It also meant that we had an extra evening with them which was great fun where some of us discovered British carveries for the first time and also that Tetley make beer as well as tea!!

Why Gateshead? Gateshead is a spiritual gate in the North and has a worship anointing plus is home to a large contingent of Orthodox Jews. We believe the Lord wanted to use these anointings to help birth a new thing in the prophetic through worship from the nations. No doubt we are not alone in doing this – each of us has to respond in our own way to the promptings of the Spirit.

THE WORSHIP

Thanks to all concerned first of all – you were just great and allowed God to use you brilliantly! It would not have been the same without you! Some songs will stick in our hearts though:-

Andy’s rendering of “What you say, I say, where you go I go” sums up what God is asking of his people at this time.

Lauren’s song of the Lord’s rising in the darkness like the eagle from the ashes brought hope to some folk in very hard places.

Ian’s song of invitation to the winds was just great – may those winds come and blow over our nations.

Egidio’s rendition of “I can fly” was brilliant on the Sunday morning – keep remembering you CAN fly no matter what the enemy and life’s circumstances say to you!

There were some unforgettable moments – my own was seeing Andy from Holy Island back to back with Tom from Bangor with their bodhrans and the rest of us doing war dances.

Who can forget the huge team up front on Sunday afternoon where we reached 107 decibels! And the miracle was that there were NO noise complaints from our neighbours – just as well that the pub opposite had a punk music event on at the same time and hopefully took some of the heat off us!

THE NATIONS

We were finally from Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, England, France, Portugal, Belgium, USA, Italy and Australia.

We thank those who helped to translate the weekend for us – especially Amanda for the French translation – never easy at the best of times and very difficult with prophetic song. I know because I’ve done it myself and it’s very tiring!

A big thanks to all who hosted folk from abroad – we hope you stay in touch and keep the relationships going.

THE PROPHETIC THEMES

The Lord IS redeeming ancient paths for today. Why bother? Because these paths bring REST FOR YOUR SOULS – Jeremiah 6:16. We are so often stressed and driven – the Lord wants to bring us to a place where we are utterly confident in him alone. So much of modern Church has brought us to a place of doing and doing and doing… These ancient paths keep us on track, in a place of rest and hidden in God. Remember how the nations around could recognise the Jewish people – by their physical rest one day a week and by the sign of circumcision. For us also we need to be different by our attitude of rest – spiritual and physical and the consecration of our hearts.

Don’t get sentimental! It’s not about returning to some golden age which never existed. It’s about going back in time to where ancient moves of God were blocked and choked in the nations – by war, by sin, by persecution and control. We repent, turn off the tap of anything which was ungodly and release these ancient moves for today’s situation and pray that what God intended would complete its course. We are about breaking moulds and about going further that those who went before and honouring that cloud of witnesses.

We had folk share about the Celtic Christians, the Valdesians, the Huguenots and the hidden Portugese Jews. It was seriously exciting!

Of course there are new paths and new wells – there is always more but so many of the new wells are built on the old ones. We need OLD AND NEW. God is reminding us of the householder who brings out of his treasure things old and new. BOTH flow together in End Times. All the mantles and anointings are needed.

We were reminded that an old river diverted from its FIRST course always returns to its ORIGINAL course. God’s rivers have gone out from his throne room in the past and we are seeing them return to that original set purpose no matter what has happened to divert them.

(Caution! –we do not think that all old moves of God are going to be revived by the way. Some have completed their course. Some got very perverted and the good in them passes to others to complete. Ask God before releasing stuff!)

The Lord is BREAKING ISOLATION. For some of us this is a real problem. The lights all over Europe are coming on as people are getting connected with one another and sharing their insights, hearts and lives. There is a strong sense of a REMNANT coming together like the tenth in the land as in Isaiah 6. What does God do with this remnant? If we were God we would probably watch over and protect it 24 hours a day but the fact is that we are NOT God and we do not always think like him. He allows this remnant to be purged and burned and purified until they are used for his purposes. But YES I do believe he is watching jealously over every moment of what you are all going through and will not allow the fiery trials to go on one moment longer than necessary. We are to call the remnant forth, out of the caves and out of the places where they have been hiding and feeling alone. Remember Elijah? He thought he was alone but it was not so. CALL out the folk who are meant to be standing beside you.

Resist thinking you are alone because it is not so.

God is asking us to RUN WITH THE HORSES. This is Jeremiah 12 where the prophet is told to basically stop moaning and RUN. So many folk have been having visions of horses, seeing horses in fields and coming to this verse.

God is asking for VULNERABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY from his warriors. We were reminded that the ancient Celtic warriors were terrifying to the enemy because their front line fought naked and launched themselves into battle with one cry. We need to be “naked” spiritually and totally transparent before the Lord – it looks like weakness but in fact is a great strength. The front line of the Lord will be vulnerable but terrifying to the enemy because of their total commitment to the Lord and to one another.

A new thing is happening in the prophetic – Jesus is showing us HE IS THE WORD. It is not going to be just about bringing a word or giving a word but about us experiencing him as THE INCARNATE WORD OF GOD. Rev 10 has John hearing that he will prophesy again over nations and kings – the Angel of the Ocean and the Land appears at times of change I believe. We are going to prophesy in a new way. Part of the call this weekend was to pray that in through the worship.

There is A NEW SOUND in the air. Alan brought us a taste from heaven with his sound – it was doing serious stuff in the heavenlies!

We are to be a HOLY PEOPLE. God is not messing around these days. We are not to be religious and driven in our efforts to disinfect ourselves! God is wanting us to develop discernment to SEPARATE THE PRECIOUS FROM THE VILE in the prophetic – Jeremiah 15:19. This takes wisdom from heaven. The prophetic is being cleansed as never before and it is largely invisible. Several folk had these words and also pictures of NEW GARMENTS AND TURBANS being given out. God wants a race of Nazirites ready for him to use.

OLD ANOINTINGS ARE BEING STRIPPED OFF. We may feel vulnerable and useless for a while but God needs us to be stripped right down in order to anoint us again for TODAY. The anointing that carried you through yesterday is not going to help you today. We are COMING THROUGH THE EYE OF THE NEEDLE AND WE ARE BEING SQUASHED AND SHRUNK AS NEVER BEFORE.

Many have been in a desert place for what seems like an eternity. The desert is NOT A WASTE OF YOUR TIME. It is the NECESSARY DIVINE PREPARATION FOR YOU TO MAKE KINGDOM CHOICES, TO FACE GOD AND YOURSELF ALONE AND TO OVERCOME THE ENEMY.

The accuser is about to become the accused. The tide is turning for God’s people.

We had a picture of the Church as a ship being harassed by the enemy suddenly turning into the wind and ENGAGING THE ENEMY.

We are being given a heart for the nations. This weekend it was to do with Israel and Europe. No doubt there is more. We had prayed about the dates for this weekend months back – we ended up seeing that we were to pray for EUROPE as the 8^th May saw the beginning of the liberation of Europe. Even as we tried to pray for our particular nations it became impossible. There was just no anointing on it. God wanted us to pray for EUROPE. To go beyond our nations, ourselves and all our agendas to see what He is doing in Europe. His ways offend us greatly somebody sung at the weekend – how right that is!

The UK had just had elections and the result was far from clear. Technically we had no government in the UK at this time. The volcano was deciding whether to spew out more ash and steam. British Airways were deciding whether a strike would add to the general atmosphere. We realised we had been given a GATE IN TIME AND SPACE. Everything seemed up in the air. We had to pray only God’s will into the airwaves at this time and HIS GOVERNMENT.

GOD’S EUROPEAN UNION – AIRBUS OR THE FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX?

We were given a picture of the new airbus being launched out from Toulouse. Our nations all have a part to play in its production – fuel tanks, interior design, wings, body etc. We felt that God’s European Union was also being put together with prophetic people like ourselves coming together. I don’t know if you have see the film of another aeroplane story – the way a group of selfish and greedy individuals whose plane is wrecked in the desert. They cannot navigate. They do not know for sure where they are. Rather than die a slow death from thirst and hunger they use the remains of the plane to build a new one. It is very fragile, very desperate and very unlikely. It depends on team work and chance. It is a matter of life and death. I have a sense that this NEW THING  the Lord is birthing will be like this – risky, fragile but teamwork from his people making a thing of great beauty in the Lord’s eyes.

Nobody can have missed the activities of the Icelandic volcano at this time. Iceland is a crossroads past, present and future. Our eyes were on the North. We are in a season when magnetic north and true north coincide. A time for making decrees and proclamations. A time for repentance and for realising God is in control – not us!

Throughout the weekend the Lord caused us to prophesy and reflect on the volcano.

A shaking and an exposing of the foundations of the nations and of the earth itself coming from the North. We were reminded of Jean Darnell’s prophetic word about the move of God to come through from the North, down through Scotland and over to the Continent. This has yet to see its fulfilment. It seemed to us that this eruption marks a step towards this coming move of God.

Psalm 48 talks about Mt. Zion on the sides of the earth. The north is the place of warfare, where Satan has his seat but also refers here to Mt. Zion “ Fair and beautiful in elevation is the joy of all the earth Mt. Zion on the northern side.”  This volcano did more than scatter the ships of Tarshish mentioned later – it caused millions to be lost and the kings of the earth were most definitely perturbed! We did feel the Lord was judging and warning the nations and their economies but there are several levels of prophetic here and all are valid. No one has all the picture.

For the UK I felt that the Lord was telling us to forgive tiny Iceland her debt caused in the recent financial upheavals from bad borrowing resulting in the crash of the Icelandic bank. Just as the debtor who is forgiven by his master, we need to see that if we do not show mercy it may well be that the UK is put into a position where we are asked to repay our huge debts – it would cripple the nation.

We were also told that the British Isles will willingly be the servants of Europe and wash their feet. This is our destiny and one to be embraced. It means a humbling of ourselves and an acceptance of a calling we have lost over the centuries.

70 years ago ash was coming from the Holocaust and the ashes of Jewish victims were being buried. We need to see that the date is not a coincidence any more than May 8^th. Nations concerned need to take note of those ashes and their treatment of God’s chosen people. God has not forgotten.

The word of the Lord is being melted from the ice and snow and running down into the valleys. “He sends out his word and melts ice and snow; He causes His wind to blow and the waters flow.” Psalm 147:18. The Lord is showing us that his word is melting the glaciers and running down into the valleys – nothing stands in the way. Bridges, roads, infrastructure were all swept away. I had a sense of those saints in the past who had pioneered and prophesied into this North. As if their words were held for us today in ice, waiting for the right time, for the fire of the Lord to come and MELT THE ICE TO BRING GODS FIRE AND THE FULFILLMENT OF THEIR WORDS DOWN TO THE EARTH FOR TODAY. A sense too that the SONGS OF THE LORD ARE ALSO BEING RELEASED FROM THE ICE BY FIRE AND IMPACTING THE EARTH. The enemy has tried to stop these words coming forth but it is a NOW TIME and he cannot stop it any longer.

The forges are open. Fire is coming forth. Lucifer once walked among the “fiery stones.” There is a RELEASE of new sounds, worship, gifts, revelations, treasures of all kinds which have been released as our rightful inheritance. It is as if the earth itself is being obliged to release these things for God’s people. This is a more positive side to the eruption which we are still pondering.

There was SO much more over the weekend but it would be a book if any more were written down!

Where do we go from here? We know there is more and we are praying on another event as soon as God says.

A CORPORATE WORD FOR AND FROM MULBERRY HOUSE!
(You may be sent this one as friends of ours as we think this might be bigger than us but if you are experiencing no ash on your horizon please do not panic!)

PEACE NOT AS THE WORLD GIVES

God is wanting to bless us. There is so much more but it is being challenged. Most of us realise by now that the battle is for that PEACE we crave, our promised land. NOT the peace of the world which is simply the absence of conflict and problems  -a kind of uneasy truce with the enemy or a time when things in our lives seem to be going OK and we heave a sigh of relief. I think some of us may well remember that we actually ASKED for that peace  -well just remember how God answers when we ask for patience!!

So what has been going on? Our worst fears, our old wounds, our Achilles heels are being attacked with an aggression from the enemy. Families are in chaos, relationships are a battleground, there are unexplained and inexplicable health problems, threats of more job cuts, disruption to family routine, blocks on cherished plans and investments. The list goes on.

Is it all Satan? Yes and no! Satan is being used in order to bring us to a much deeper place of peace. We have been told recently not to make our own plans with gay abandon and expect that we can make long term plans – the word actually says that we are to say only that God willing we will be in a certain place at a certain time. Just ask several thousand stranded Brits what it meant when they were clearly NOT going to make it where they wanted to go. It seems like it was even being reflected in the heavenlies that we were being realigned.

ACHILLES HEELS AND DISUNITY
God has also promised us some things through the trials  -that HE will cover our Achilles heels and that the huntER was about to become the hunted. Maybe you need  to think what your Achilles heel is. You can also take comfort that in all the places where it seems the enemy has you on the run, things are going to change!
We had a warning against dis- unity but not in the sense that we usually mean it. When we Christians talk about dis-unity, we usually mean that there has been some falling out of brothers and sisters, some slander or gossip going on. This is NOT the same though. This disunity comes because EVERYBODY IS DOING THEIR OWN THING. It might seem a good , even a spiritual thing BUT it leads only to distraction. Wow yesterday morning we felt that EVERYTHING was thrown at us to stop the unity coming in the Spirit. Nobody had fallen out. Nobody was offended. BUT when we finally stopped the meeting to see what was happening in the Spirit, it turned out that we were all feeling it was just us in our private thoughts busy sorting our own heads out  -this meant that there was no CORPORATE strategy to deal with enemy assaults. Yet ALL TOGTHER WE HAD THE ANSWER!
One of our ladies had had a picture of us all back to back and shoulder to shoulder covering one another and our own backs  -we actually enacted this and had to fight hard to overcome fears of all kinds  -as if the bottom of the barrel was being reached and we are desperate to enter God’s rest.

ME AND MY LITTLE WORLD

One of our ladies brought a talk called highly appropriately “ Me and My little world”! This is exactly what is currently going on. Now your little world might be quite a pleasant place. It might be a place of turmoil and torment. It does not matter. God is saying we need a CORPORATE AND COLLECTIVE STRATEGY and we need it fast. That means we are going to have to re-focus. Our vision has to increase. While I am busy in my little world, there are general elections going on, there are nations to pray for. My little world can get so busy that I cannot see the wider picture. Maybe I take my little world to the community on Sunday and return home disappointed because I can see that my problems continue. The thing I want to happen has not happened. My healing is still incomplete. My family is still in turmoil. My finances are still shaky. BUT all the time, nations are affected, the heavenlies are being changed, the city is being affected by our CORPORATE WORSHIP and PRAYER.

We need to deal with our hearts  -wounded and with  huge walls of self protection and fear between us and God. We saw that wall yesterday and we were desperate to get past it and into that place of peace in the Father’s heart. BUT when we get distracted by our own individual worlds it is impossible. You need others to make this kind of breakthrough. God is looking for a CORPORATE BODY of believers willing to come out of their world and see the wider picture. Satan is a MASTER DISTRACTOR AND A MASTER DECEIVER – God is looking for mature believers who can see this and ACT when needed. We KNOW this already. In fact we have known most of this for a very long time. Now though is the time to hear and OBEY. Two entirely different things. Our hearts are hard in our woundedness and our fear is that more wounding will come if we expose ourselves further. We were given  a picture of hearts not like concrete to be attacked with a pick axe as we often think but of hard hearts made of RUBBER. The thing with rubber is that you can deal it a blow and make a dint but the rubber just bounces back unscathed. Rubber is hard to destroy  -just think of a scrap yard and the smell from burning tyres! Rubber hearts know how to defend themselves from further hurts. The fire of the Lord has to melt that kind of hardness. It’s as if it has been there all along but now we are at the place where the rubber hits the road  -pardon the pun!

DON’T TRY TO FIX YOUR WHIRLWIND

Order IS coming out of the chaos. As an expert worrier I am absolutely spoilt for choice what to worry about next! Many folk are the same with situations way out of their control turning round like a whirlwind around them, unsure what to try to tackle and what to leave alone. You can’t FIX a whirlwind! Particularly one which changes direction and is full of the debris of your fears and panics and disasters! Elijah couldn’t fix his either. You can either RUN or GET IN THE CENTRE God is wanting to bring his holy hush in the centre of that storm which seems to have been perfectly designed to make you feel shaken on every foundation. Like that famous film  -the “Perfect Storm”! God wants us to see the wider picture.

Remember Elijah? God deals with his runaway prophet who is trying to run from his very own perfect storm on Mt Horeb. God shows up but shows Elijah that still, small voice and then POINTS HIM TO THE BIGGER PICTURE. He does not explain himself, appear to comfort or acknowledge Elijah’s wonderful work and commitment but reveals himself in the still, small voice which puts all Elijah’s fears at rest.
God is in the CENTRE OF YOUR WHIRLWIND! That means you have to pass through a certain amount of debris and disasters to get to the bit in the middle.
You are about to see a whole new vista opening up after the storm. You will not see it as the whirlwinds of thoughts and situations seems to whirl out of control around you but when it all dies down – hopefully like the ash from the volcano in Iceland- it will be a whole new ball game. Elijah’s heir was Elisha and a community of prophets. Obviously prophets need time to be alone and Elijah was absolutely amazing but most of us need collective places to come and share and see the wider picture together.

JESUS BE THE CENTRE

For us this means a time when CORPORATELY we begin to see the bigger picture. Our focus HAS to be Jesus and we have to get our eyes OFF our own little world to see that HE is wanting to be the centre of all.

JESUS IS THE WORD

All of this can seem so much trite stuff we have heard a thousand times before. The difference is that God is making this a PRESENT REALITY IN US. We KNOW we should not worry, get distracted by crises or family stuff or any other cares in this world but knowing it is not the same as being able to deal with it. We wear ourselves out trying to fix it and work out ways round the problems and catastrophes  -God is wanting to give us a TANGIBLE experience in the middle of the storm that HE IS GOD.

GOD OF MYSTERY

We live in an area much affected by the work and spirituality of the Irish Celtic saints. One of our folk reminded us of an aspect of their spirituality we forget so easily. They did not need to have God explain himself. Just as well because I don’t think God is going to explain what he is doing this time either! He will tell us what we need to know in HIS view and it will not look like what we have thought about him either.
We are being told to put on a garment of humility and put off our striving and restlessness  -it seems we have prayed for this as well and are beginning to see the results! We don’t know God as well as we thought and he flat refuses to do what we want. We will just have to try not to get in his way!

Well we now have the election date here in the UK – a month of campaigning and persuading and positioning behind the scenes. God of course is very present and interested but what is HE saying to His people at this time? Not just here in the UK but to all of us. Our vision is always of course limited but here are some themes which have been recurring in our part of the world which may ring true for you too. Sorry if this seems heavy and you could do without it in your life but read between the lines and you will see hope and God’s sheer goodness and faithfulness to us!

WHAT MESSAGE SHOULD THE STONES CRY?
Jesus said that if the disciples were silenced, the stones would cry out. Obviously the enemy really does want the voices of God’s people to be silent and the stones DO cry out. For good or bad they cry out their message. Just look at a castle, a pagan temple, a dolmen or a stone circle or some church ruins. You cannot remain unaffected by the message. Over past months the Lord has been stressing the importance of:-
-Turning off ungodly messages which have been wrongly programmed into stones (false altars, monuments ancient and modern which cry out death, idolatry, false sacrifice, mockery of God.). The ungodly messages pollute the earth and the airwaves and bring people and the land under a curse.
-Reminding stones which have been forgotten about that they can return to their original godly mandate if there was one. Many stones were used for godly purposes once but were scattered and used for something different and finally forgotten about. Now is the time for the gathering again of those stones to complete any mandate from God in this age.
-Commanding stones which have been taken from their original places and used to rebuild elsewhere to be loosed and to return to their first godly purpose.
-Calling out of oblivion and death stones where the enemy has seemingly caused all trace to be lost.

Much of this is to do with forgotten apostolic mandates given to saints long ago which are to be completed today. Moves of God shut down or misunderstood, begun well but polluted by man, twisted by wrong ideology or historians. The physical stones and the living descendants of the living stones need to be aligned to call out again the right godly message. God is wanting to put us on His righteous bedrock where we will let Him.

WORKING WITH THE REMNANT
God always has His remnant in the land in any diaspora. This January the Lord showed me a stump under the ice and snow of our bitter winter weather that rose again with such force that it almost knocked me off my feet. It sprouted branches, fruit and leaves so fast I was astonished from what looked as if it was a dead, burnt stump.
“And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid waste,
But as the terebinth and the oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land.” Isaiah 6:1-13
If you were God maybe you would be very concerned with watching over that holy seed in the land but God’s ways are not ours it seems. He actually burns and purifies the tenth part of the whole in order to preserve the seed. If you are going through that burning process right now, it might not be much fun but maybe God has greater purposes in it and can still use that holy seed to effect change in his timing and purpose. Do not forget that if this was for Israel, the chosen people it will be no less true for those grafted in on Hebraic roots to the olive tree.

It is so important right now to cry out that the spiritual descendants of past moves of God would hear the truth of their identity and begin to wake up from their long sleep. There is a gathering again in the land.

Help will also come from the diaspora scattered in the nations. Israel is now a nation but much help and man ideas had to be developed in the spiritual genes of those in the nations and taken back to the land. Watch God move because there are many tribes, races, moves of God scattered to the flour winds which are going to follow the pattern of Israel. Great Britain will be no different. The British Empire did much harm and much good. The Commonwealth has been much criticised but there is good to come from these places too. Ancient mandates still stand.

EYE OF THE NEEDLE

We are still struggling here to get through that eye! It is a VERY tight squeeze this time. Some of us feel that although this is what we have prayed for we now feel out of control of our circumstances. More than ever we feel we are NOT ready for God coming in power. Maybe it’s a good thing too. This is truly a time for the hard baked grease to be scoured off us to get through that narrow place. The year of tens is certainly a pithy place to be. We are finding that we just can’t have it our way any more. The fear of the Lord is there as we realise our extreme dependence on him .Yes it sounds trite and we have been saying this for years but now it is like standing on the edge of a cliff with no option than to jump. Seems like absolute surrender is the only was out and we are cornered – by our own prayers too which seems typical for God!!

ALL CHANGE – THE MAD HATTER AND THE UK
I apologise to friends abroad if you do not know that Johnny Depp alias Captain Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean has just become the latest Mad Hatter in a new film of Alice in Wonderland. The problem is that even though I don’t particularly like Johnny Depp, this is shouting at me for the UK. It seems to me so highly prophetic that the cry of “all change” goes up round the tea table while our political parties all shout about change but nothing concrete happens. The dormouse is still asleep in our national teapot and we are still shouting to lop off heads as if that would improve anything.

God has been taking to many folk – even if you do not see the prophetic sign of the dormouse, the hatter and the ever changing tea table in the UK. I was in a church recently when all of a sudden the worship team began to play a strange rhythm on the drums – it sounded just like Big Ben although I was not even in the UK. It was like the time ticking away before judgement actually. God had me watch the 39 Steps some time ago where the hero hangs on to the pointers of Big Ben to avert national disaster. Sorry if you think Christians should not quote from films. I think it’s OK if it is backed up by the Bible. Well I was reminded of this scene again that morning where the hero stops time just before midnight. God is Lord of time and there are so many instances where He can and will intervene. For the UK I had a picture of a clock – not Big Ben but a sun dial and was reminded of two passages of Scripture. First of all the finger of God moving to show the king that basically his time is up – Daniel 5:25-26 “This is what the words mean:
Mene. God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.
Tekel. You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.
Peres. Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and the Persians.”
In the case of this king it was too late. The writing was on the wall and the judgement decreed. The kingdom changed hands and Daniel amazingly survived. I do not either mean anything about our Queen and believe that God honours her for her stance and standards and will protect the nation as a result – We Brits really need to be singing that she lives long! The nation though is not in a good state and the writing is on the wall. I saw where the enemy was pointing too and indicating to God that it was time for judgement.
Can we change this? There have been so many prayer initiatives and hopeful signs. Revival often comes at difficult times. While praying a few days ago – coincidentally over some “old stones” which had forgotten their mandate, God showed me a crack opening. Interestingly we were proclaiming over the north and I was reminded that we are in a time when magnetic North and true North coincide. A shadow fell in a precise moment of time and I heard that at this time there was the possibility of “going back” ten. The story of king Hezekiah came to me in 2 Kings 20. The godly king falls ill and is told by the prophet Isaiah that he will die. Understandably he is upset and begins to weep and turn his face to the wall and remind God of the way he has tried to follow him. God hears and Isaiah is told to return and tell the king he will recover and live another 15 years. Hezekiah asks for a sign he will go up to the house of the Lord in three days and is told he has a choice – to make the sun dial go forward or back ten degrees. This jumped out at me for our nation.
“ It is a simple matter for the shadow to go forward ten steps, said Hezekiah, Rather have it go back ten steps.” In other words cause time to go backwards.
Here I feel a few things:-
Judgement is decreed BUT God wants to test hearts to see if we ask further.
We can “turn our face to the wall” and REMIND God of the righteous acts of the nation in the past and the righteous acts of the saints. It is good to ask forgiveness but pleas for mercy because of right doing can buy time when we ask with good hearts.
The ten degrees back I believe are for years where we can ask God to reverse decisions taken in the life of the nation which have brought reproach and guilt.
The fig poultice is to disinfect the wound and will no doubt sting but it will cleanse and bring healing.
The fifteen years are the allotted years of grace to use wisely – whether or not it will be literally fifteen I do not know. It depends on our reaction right now.

NEW BROOMS SWEEP CLEAN?
Last year the Lord showed me in Israel a broom of righteousness sweeping the nation. Whatever sweeps Israel will also sweep the nations but it may not be very obvious at first. It will be interpreted according to the “glasses” you wear of course. Orthodox Jews have become more purist and religious and have turned very strict in their attempts to “purify” their land of influences like Christian missionaries. As a result visas have been refused to many. Many have had to leave Israel. The religious spirit has risen up in its own attempts to “purify” the lands – all kinds of religious spirits in all kinds of religions who feel the broom and then act according to their ideals. We need to watch out for the perversion of what God wants to do and what we in our ignorance can perceive he wants to do in our churches and nations. Nationalist movements have started up in the nations with renewed fervour and it is not over yet. All they are doing is trying to purify their lands of what they see as harmful influences from the outside. In this nation the Lord showed me that the House of Commons would be swept clean and that he was about to go through it with his broom of righteousness. We have had the scandals of MP’s expenses and this has paved the way for elections where nobody can truly predict the results. Confidence in politicians is at an all time low.
I can’t tell you who you should vote for but God is looking for righteousness in the house!

RULE BRITANNIA?
This last winter the Lord showed me an old coin where the nose of Britannia had been defaced for some reason. A symbol of the nation even though a demonic one. He told me that Britannia’s nose was going to be rubbed in the dirt. A sign of shame, disgrace, punishment in the nation. I doubt anyone thinks the nation is currently doing too well unless you really do have your head in the sand. Now though it seems that Britannia is to be taken off our coins and is to be replaced by a lion. I doubt it looks like a godly lion but a new era is beginning. The weak lion though needs to roar and be transformed by the Lion of Judah himself.

POPPIES FROM THE SKY
The people of Wooton Bassett are keeping up their vigil to escort home the bodies of the dead soldiers of Afghanistan. This happens regularly despite efforts by extremists to hold offensive marches in the opposite spirit while using our laws of freedom to attack the nation. Whether you agree with the actions of the nation there or in any other place the nation is grieving for the loss of so many young lives. Yesterday a 21 year old from our own Gateshead was killed and another family is plunged into mourning. Just before the terrible bombings in London a few years back the Lord showed me a silence over the UK, the city of London in danger and then poppies falling in millions to cover the land in a thick carpet. Many folk had warnings. Many prayed. It could have been so much worse except for the prayers of the saints. As a celebration of victory which coincided with dates form the last World war, poppies were dropped form the sky over London. This was to me shocking enough but the truth is that what the enemy plans is much worse – I saw poppies so deep that I could no longer see the ground. I am not a prophet of doom by the way. I just know that there are many more plans afoot to wreak havoc. God of course has HIS and WE are part of them. We have time to act but it needs for us to hear and obey.

THE UK – AN EXAMPLE

I felt I heard that our nation was going to be an “example” of God’s nature. He is reminding us of two sides to His nature. He is “good, compassionate and tenacious to His people”, committed to them in covenant purpose in His way. Covenant cuts two ways though. Moses sees this “goodness” of the Lord from his safe place. He hears the Lord God proclaim His name and nature;
“The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished; He punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.”
Exodus 33-34
We will see BOTH sides of God’s nature in this time ahead.

FINALLY – LESSONS FROM PURIM AND PASSOVER
Esther saved her people by her bravery and commitment – even though she took some persuading. BUT the order of the king could not be reversed – only changed by allowing the Jews to know in advance what would happen to them and allowing them-to protect themselves against their enemies – by force if necessary. Moses saved his people by telling them to stay inside, to prepare to leave Egypt and to apply the blood of the lamb to the doorposts. BUT if they had just agreed with God and done nothing, they would have suffered the same as the Egyptians.

ICELAND AND VOLCANIC DUST
Today it is very peaceful and still due to the empty skies in our area. An amazing sunset last night due probably to the dust in the atmosphere. Late last night before going to bed, I asked the Lord what was going on with these strange events. Several of our folk have seen dark clouds over the nation but we have not thought of volcanoes affecting us in this way. I was reminded of the events that led to the failure of the Icelandic bank and the way those in this nation started to demand that Iceland paid back what it owed. Their leader asked for time and pointed out that they were a small country in a real crisis which would take more time to resolve. I felt the Lord saying that we needed to be reminded of Iceland as we had forgotten that we too owe billions to others who could easily begin to demand payment from US. We would also say we needed more time. We need to show mercy – not that the banking system in either nation is perfect but because God wants righteousness and mercy.
I have sense of suspended time over the UK at the moment – we need to use it wisely.

PROPHECY FROM THE EDGE
August 2009

Walking the shore line with Jesus

I had a dream recently in which I was walking by the shoreline with Jesus. It was very peaceful with a feeling of the humanity of Jesus and his approachability. We were both barefoot and Jesus was telling me to follow His footsteps attentively. I tried and found that we were walking right at the very edge of the sea. One minute it was on wet sand and the next waves were lapping our feet. We were talking although I have forgotten some of what was said. Jesus was telling me to simplify my life and to stay in the simplicity of the Gospel. I did not feel any rebuke but simply refreshed and drops of water were spraying me from time to time from the waves. The words which came were that the yoke and burdens of Jesus are easy and burden light. I for one have a tendency to make things too complicated. I need a call back to simplicity very regularly.

The angel between the water and the land

At the same time I was aware of angelic presence and heard someone singing the chorus which has the words “Is this your mighty angel who sits between the ocean and the land?” I was aware of a mighty presence there at the water’s edge.
Revelations 10 talks of such an angel;
“Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, robed in a cloud, with a halo like a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, and his feet were like columns of fire. He had a little book open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. “
The chapter goes on to talk of the angel bringing intervention into our time on the earth and of John being told to take and eat the scroll which was in the hand of the angel.
“Then the voice that I heard from heaven spoke again to me, saying, Go and take the little book which is open on the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land. So I went up to the angel and asked him to give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it and eat it. It will embitter your stomach, though in your mouth it will be sweet as honey. So I took the little book from the angel’s hand and ate and swallowed it; it was a sweet as honey in my mouth, but once I had swallowed it, my stomach was embittered. Then they said to me, You are to make a fresh prophecy concerning many peoples and races and nations and languages and kings.”

I AM the Word

I felt in the dream that when this particular angel appears, that one of his roles is to release fresh prophetic revelation. I felt the Lord saying that the season has changed and that the freshness is going to come in a new experiential way. We have been used to giving and receiving words – this is about meeting and experiencing THE Word Himself. It is quite a different thing.

Fresh prophecy

It seemed to me that these verses are going to be very important to those who live on the coasts, the peninsulas and on the islands. John knew the human Jesus but was being prepared to meet the Jesus of Revelation. I had a sense of a new kind of prophetic beginning to hit these areas of the world. New, fresh prophecy being released with a bitter sweet taste to it.  A new experience of Jesus who is able to walk the shoreline with us but who is at the same time Lord of Lords.

Bittersweet Words and Earthy People

What was odd was that at the time of talking to Jesus I had a bitter sweet taste in my mouth .I was eating an orange along with the peel. It was not unpleasant but quite invigorating , just like the spray from the sea – at least in the dream ! Sweet and sour together. Just like the bittersweet scroll.  There are going to be prophetic words which will sting in order to bring sweetness in there. New and fresh and tinged with the humanity and the glory of Jesus.

Words “from the edge “

I heard the Lord saying that this angelic presence would be present to those who walked on the “borderlines”. This angelic presence comes in narrow, tight and at times very uncomfortable circumstances when it is the right time for the scrolls to be revealed. Prophetic people are going to be called here. These people would be living “on the edge”.

I had a series of pictures of this “edge” and the “borderlines”.

The first was the sea shore where you are very obviously between the sea and the land. Peninsulas and islands are close to my heart and came to mind here.
Fresh revelation will come here.

Then I saw again a place near Tekoa in Israel where an early monk and desert father named Haritun had come from Anatolia to found an early monastery.They lived on the borderlines too in caves where animals lived too – right on the edge of what we would call sustainable human life. Right on the edge of desert and arable land. Right on the edge of village life and wilderness. Right on the edge too of what many of us would call sheer eccentricity and sanity. In the world and not of it in a very visible way. In the case of Tekoa in direct contrast too with Herod’s amazing sunken palace on the hill opposite.
More importantly these people lived  right on the edge of the heavenly realm and the visible physical world. Heavenly encounters through their everyday graft and work with the people around them .An open doorway to heaven through their prayer lives. .

Pushing back the darkness

I heard that it was here on these borders that the darkness would be pushed back by those who would pay the price. Huge walls of darkness threatening to invade and overtake the nations and cities.  It will require a discipline and an endurance to live in this borderline place with the Lord.  Whole communities of people walking that narrow line. We see a part with the emerging prayer houses and worship centres . It will become a life style and a life saver for nations.

In our area we would call this a “thin place” – a place where the veils between the physical world we see and the reality of the invisible spiritual realm are very thin. Many are going to be called to this place to receive a heavenly wisdom which will impact the world and the Church. Living here will be a challenge – many have visited this place but we are being called to live here day by day.

Position yourself

We need to be in the right place for Jesus to speak the refreshing word to us. We need to know where he wants us to be. There are many, many borderline places in the physical and the spiritual. We need to be humble as Jesus was in the dream, to be with humble people and to let our lives maybe a lot more narrow that we have been used to. He will keep us in that narrow place and the prophetic word will root in us and go out from that place on the edge  -wherever that place is for you.

UNLESS IT FALL AND DIE – this came to us from Dave Hood

I am bringing my people to a place of death in Me

And because it dies it will yet live and rise again. Unless it die it cannot bring forth life and light. Many have tried to manage me, and to marry themselves to the idea and notion that is Me. But it is I who chose them, not they that chose me. For they need to know it is not just their calling but it is MY CALLING, mine, and mine is a path that is set for victory.

Victory in areas and ways that cannot be imagined or performed but acquired – knowing not just what is required but rather KNOWING ME. My ways and my time, my house – KNOWING Me IS that requirement – and adhering, knowing and being guided by my own ways and not their ways or a way that is a mixture within a world that I desire to make My imprint upon.

An imprint that is designed to change the very ground of man, but it is to be a place of MY FEET and not just theirs – I will give them the place where the soles of their feet stand, but it must be IN My own feet and in MY own place. For many wanderings and lusts and desires have offset the angle of my house and its lines and plans are not as now what I have designed them to be.

I will not be fitted into mans plans for me or my people, I will not be drawn, planned and mapped out at the behest and design of man, for its not THEIR house I am building but MY House and My House is mine own, it belongs to me and all who come into it will find me – not another model of me or presentation of me – but Me in Myself as I myself only am and can be.

There is no plan drawn or thought of that can design its true and righteous expression of me, none, but I am about my Fathers business and I will build my own house, true and upright and not obtusely planned or plotted – whose walls and angles will not hang according the scalene thoughts of man or this world. I am who I am and none other shall build  Me – but who will share in my glory – who will come with MY trowel in my hand, who will come with me to cover MY plaster and walls – WH0..? who will follow my plan, like  Bezalel and Oholiah …*** (see footnote) who I ordered their lives, minds and skills to afix of me a representation of my wisdom in the building thereof – is my own body not also such a tent – is it not also a place where I have chosen and designed MY people, HID in Myself to dwell in with me – yet it is used as if it was theirs, run by them, for them and not for me …for Me – do they not know have they not heard I am God and I am Lord and in and with me  and APART from me there is NO other – EXCEPT for me there is only death and not life. Only danger and destruction, only a further delineating of my lines and diluting of my Truth and more and further distorting of me.

I need no other gods to build me, no other or more gods to represent or display me – I display myself – I do it – I have always done it and ALWAYS will continue to do it.

I will take down their posters and promotions, plastered on the walls of the highways and bye ways of this world’s life and tear them down and rip them up – and rip their ceiling away from above them and their floor from below them – And if I need it to be, trample them under my feet for it is an anathema to me – it is a circus a travelling circus seeking to amuse and entertain and show and GRANDSTAND not Me as Lord and master but themselves and all that is within their tent.

They think they are master of it – there is a master for sure but it is not ME … there is only I, there is none other like me or higher than me – yet I bid my servant and children my workers and presenters of the art and order that is me to come to Me – to come to me for my thoughts, my hearts, my plans, my drawing, my blueprint designed so far ahead of things its revealing in full would take their breath away.

Will you not put down your own tools and trowel, and stop your tinkering, your building your planning and plotting and follow hard after, hard I say, hard after me – till there be no more left before me – hard I say after me, not after your pleasures or yourselves but me . It is coming time and is – for you to rend your hearts and not just your garment, to let loose off and from you your disguise and compromise of me and all its weavings, dyeing and colouring that you have sown  into the FABRIC OF YOUR LIFE AND THE FLIELD OF MY CHOSEN BLESSING – and have the audacity to call if Me, to name it me, as if it were your child you are birthing and bringing through – hear, hearken and listen, it is not your child it is mine, it always has been, never yours, but destined and designed and designated as MINE.

It is Time to spend MY time with me, come, come to my waters come to my tree where we can see the verdant slope of my meadow and valley, the rest, the rest that is ME, in Me, ceasing from your own work and following ONLY Me – Come for here just as I told to Nathanial and Jacob and my Isaacs – is the place where my ladder is planted near and by thee. Where over your head is the shade of an open heaven, accessed by me and for thee, for Me to share and all mans and your burdens care.

Come, that my step will be your step that your shadow is my shadow, that your words will be my way and your way be my day.

Come, all you who are weary and heavy laden, come and enter into My rest, rest from your own work, from your many words and dictates, lay down your life to take up mine – I lay down my life no one take it from I lay it down for you, will you again lay it down one more time for me.

***In chapter Exodus 31 [10] the main builder and architects are specified:

“God spoke to Moses, saying: I have selected Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, by name. I have filled him with a divine spirit, with wisdom, understanding and knowledge, and with all types of craftsmanship. He will be able to devise plans as well as work in gold, silver and copper, cut stones to be set, carve wood, and do other work. I have also given him Oholiab son of Achisamakh of the tribe of Dan. I have placed wisdom in the heart of every naturally talented person. They will thus make all that I have ordered, the Communion Tent, the Ark of the Covenant, the ark cover to go on it, all the utensils for the tent, the table and its utensils, the pure menorah and all its utensils, the incense altar, the sacrificial altar and all its utensils, the washstand and its base, the packing cloths, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, the vestments that his sons wear to serve, the anointing oil, and the incense for the sanctuary. They will thus do all that I command.” (Exodus 31:1-11)

This also came to us from Dave

Today Sept 5th 2009 , while washing dishes, I found myself singing – I am he that liveth, that liveth and was dead, behold I am alive forever more. This is from Rev. Rev 1:18 I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Shortly after that, I went to read these scriptures, and realized that the lord had given me a word, 5 years ago.

I realize that in part, we have entered more, into these moments and times than we had 5 years previously – so I sense to share what was written then – because – it was written then, partly for NOW

The Ring – The Lord Of The Rings

This word has come to me on a number of occasions over a period of 4/5 weeks; I believe it maybe appropriate for our time(and now) ( and future) and hopefully encouraging.

But I would say to you that generally speaking it is wonderful to have God doing great things, a healing, a testimony, deliverance, seeing him move in his miraculous ways. And how we wish these moments would be more often and more continuous – it’s great when times and things go well and go right – glory to him then. But equally, there are times when things do not go well, glory to him then also. In fact they often go in reverse, go wrong, things which could have gone in this direction go that way, things which should have succeeded do not, effort on our behalf that should bring reward and success doesn’t, it seems to fail, to fall and its energies dissipate like mist and fall like dust. Apparent Blessings no longer happen and life seems to have you by the neck and the question we ask is – is God still in this thing, is God still with me, is God still for me.

Sometimes we may feel as if we believe, other times it is clear we do not. So on the one hand it may be unwise to think that bad things should or will not happen to you – this is untrue – in this world you will have trouble – but fear not for I am with you and I have overcome the world. It may also be equally untrue to say that because bad things happen, God is not in it or with it. Some of you may be facing trouble and problems now, some of you perhaps not, but sometimes we need to be prepared.

Take for instance the FISHERMAN UPON THE SEAS- who goes out to fish in his boat to catch a catch, – does he go without first checking the weather, or without having the right vessel and right clothes, his oilskins. – He, if he’s wise, needs advance preparation or knowledge. – EVEN then – we can sometimes be caught unaware – but Gods word says – I do not want you to be unaware – and even a good weather forecast can throw up the sudden unexpected storm, that when caught up in it may go on for days and sometimes for weeks. With this in mind this is what I believe Father wants to bring to you

I was at church about a while ago and found myself reflecting on the book the Trilogy, Lord of the Rings. I remembered how there were several rings, but that there was “one ring that would rule them, the one ring to find them, the one ring to bring them all, the one ring binding them ” There was the one ring. The book and film was very much a story of the search for this one ring by the enemy’s of the realm and for the ring bearer himself.

In the bible the number 7 is thought of as the number of perfection. As I continued to think, verses in the book of Revelation came to mind. Revelation 1:9–20. READ – Here it speaks of the 7 churches and the 7 golden lamp stands and of the Lord Himself; his face was like the sun, shining in all its brilliance. In verse 20 it says, spoken of by the Lord Jesus “the mystery of the 7 stars that you saw in my right hand and of the 7 golden lamp stands is this. The seven stars are the angels of the 7 churches and the seven lamp stands are the seven churches.

This is how I related it to the story of the Lord of the Rings. To me the seven churches represented the perfect church, perfected in Jesus. This in their total was his one church, the sum of the perfect whole. These seven churches mirrored the seven rings that existed in the book and film and that Jesus had an aspect of the church, where? Jesus had this there, IN HIS HAND. – for in his hand he had 7 stars, which the word says, were 7 angels. I feel the angels, represent things that are SPIRITUAL – and these are held, and held in PERFECT SPIRITUAL BALANCE in Jesus’ hand. In other words things pertaining to the church, to you, to me, to us all, were and still are, held securely in HIS hand.

In another sense as stated in the book and film, there was ONE ring that would bind and unite them all. You are his one ring. “ Corinthians and Ephesians talks about the Holy Spirit as being given as an earnest, a guarantee, a deposit of what is fully and finally to come and it is often spoken of the Spirit been given, as a sign and symbol of an engagement that has already taken place through our new birth in Christ. We have been engaged to Christ as his fully intended bride. And his Spirit if you like is His engagement ring to the church for the wedding that is about to come.

What does this tell us, – many things perhaps, – but to me it tells me this. Not only are you IN his hand, but you are ALSO on HIS finger. He wears YOU his church, AS THE ONE RING – AS would A Husband wear the ring upon his wedding finger. You see LOVE is the one ring that binds them all, the ONE RING of love combining them all. The nation Israel considered an engagement AS ALREADY WED.

Looking at Revelation 1:20, where are you? – Where does he have you? Now, today?

He has you IN His hand – And He has you ON His finger.

He does not hold you as a juggler might, balancing and throwing balls up in the air with one hand, in order to cause the audience to see how daring he is and how he can have you gasping at his dexterity, with the thought that perchance he might drop you. No, he has you held within the BALANCE of BOTH his hands, exercising control for you and does not play with you as one would a toy.

And because this picture is also of the bride that is yet fully to be, you can be sure that in order to fully and finally bring you to your wedding place, that you are not just in His hand or on his finger, but constantly ON HIS MIND – and the reason for that, is that you are constantly IN HIS SIGHT – as sure as that ring is constantly on HIS finger, so are you constantly in his sight. Why, for he constantly sees his Spirit, his deposit in and on you, guaranteeing you, marking you – as his bride and he wears you and it with pride – in the same way that THE wedding ring he sees upon HIS finger, marks you as his bride. This mirrors in a similar way to the one who is engaged, making PREPARATION for the Day itself, the Great Wedding Feast of the Lamb. Even an engagement ring REMINDS the bride of the wedding to BE – and it is its SIGHT, SEEING of it that fills her with joy.

Why are you constantly on his mind and constantly in his sight?

Because…. you are constantly in his hands and constantly on his finger

And because you are constantly in his hands and constantly on his finger

You are also therefore, as are ALL THINGS, – constantly IN HIS CONTROL, despite what is going on with you or around you, whether within the church or out of it. Control and balance may be beyond our scope, it is not beyond His.

This vision and prophecy we have just read about were given to the apostle John in the book of Revelation- and were given him on the island of Patmos, in what were bleak and hard times, in times of trial, difficulty and unrest. – He personally was experiencing forced hardship in the islands mines -. Despite this and IN THIS the Lord Jesus Himself appeared to John and gave him some of the most wonderful, awesome and encouraging revelations. Just as he did to his namesake John, the Baptist, who when locked up in prison, at the day of execution – DOUBTED – because things had gone wrong and perhaps not according to what he had expected – and asked via messenger if HE JESUS was REALLY the one or had JOHN made a mistake and should he expect another. John was in prison because he had done the right thing in exposing the adultery in the ruling governments family  – we to doubt like him, if things go wrong especially when we do the right thing“ In Luke 7:22-23…these were Christ’s words to him -.”Replying to his, doubt, to Johns concern -, Go back and report to John, what you have seen and heard. The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the good news is preached to the poor. Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me. – No he had not made a mistake – AND – the Kingdom continues, despite what’s happening.

In the light of what is going on with you, in the light of all that is going on around you – or all that is amiss or awry with your life or the world or the church. – look at Madrid, Iraq or Israel, even in its present stripping of its communities or the two Tsunamis**and more, the London bombings and the great storm Katrina in the Gulf of Mexico, the upheaval in Iran –the economic climate and upheaval – God is in control of both it and you – and is concerned enough about you to take time and come to you with a message, – a word that affirms you, strengthens you, warn and encourages you to see that the kingdom STILL WILL and is continuing ON despite evidence seemingly to the contrary and that you are personally not forgotten.

There has not been a mistake, there has not been a fumble, YOU, the ball have not been dropped, nor you, the ring lost. Nor amidst the turmoil, the glare or the stares forgotten, nor is he dazzled nor blinded, for HIS is the face shining like the sun in all its brilliance, the blinding brilliance of his all great love – in the unrest, in the fire and in the trial is one seen…. like the Son of man – shining on you and with you, even through, beyond and above the fiery flames of the furnace. – and how great is the Shining one when he appears. His feet like yours are positioned with you, standing in the same fire, the same trials that you are standing in.

Want more convincing. Ok. For you he says, “One more then”. Gollum, you know was a creature that had walked many different paths, not all of them bad and his pursuits, particularly after the ring, had led him to the depths of torture and of dismay. Perhaps we may feel we have been where he is. Gollum perhaps is a picture of man in his utter despair – and such was his fixation and obsession, actually called the ring “his precious”. – This is precisely what he our God and Father calls you “ Isa.43: 4…precious, Precious and honoured are you in my sight and I love you, you and all the Gollum’s are precious to him… hear these words, they are written especially from him to you…as he looks towards you his ONE RING, secured and secure on His own finger -. You, – you are my precious, precious ones, – you are the ones I most seek after. You are in my hands, you are on my finger, you are constantly on my mind, you are constantly in my sight, and you are constantly in my control. Precious and honoured are you in my sight and I love you.

To round it off – after receiving this and pondering over it, asking God, to confirm his word and wondering like many do, did I really hear right – this incident I’m about to describe to you happened a day or two after, being given the go ahead to share it with you. I work(ed) in a Youth Centre and in the morning around 8; I arrive and meet with J our head cleaner before work.

She says to me – have you seen my new ring – would you like a look – ok let’s see it then – so she takes this gold ring off her finger and hands it to me. On the outside, it had little footprints, imprints of bare feet, indented into the gold – like the ones in the footsteps poem, walking right around the outside of the ring encircling it from start to finish, – wonderful I said, – look on the inside she said – and there inside the ring were words engraved, – not the whole footsteps poem but some of the key words. Wonderful to look at – but the words clearly had a start and a finish so that you could recognise the start of the message inside – the inside part that is closest and TOUCHES the skin. The first words that started the engraving were.  MY PRECIOUS CHILD – well how wonderful – what a way to confirm his word, prepared for me BEFORE I had asked for it – If it was prepared for me – it was (and is) prepared for you

With it I heard him say these words concerning the footsteps around the circumference of the ring – he said – MY WALK WITH YOU IS CONTINUOUS AND COMPLETE, THERE IS NO PART OF YOUR WALK OR CIRCUMFERENCE OF YOU LIFE THAT IS NOT REACHED, and COVERED OR INCLUDED.

It was then that he reminded me that he had said sometime whilst I was preparing this for you – YOU ARE ENGRAVED upon the PALMS OF MY HANDS – I HEAR HIM SAY AGAIN, YOU ARE ENGRAVED UPON THE PALMS OF MY HANDS – if you think of the cross BOTH hands were nailed securing for us freedom and control with God – with these words he gave me a sense of his continuing presence with me – and he gave me a picture – of J our cleaner and Jesus Himself. A man and a woman – I saw J extend her LEFT hand to him – the wedding hand – and Christ carefully took her hand into his RIGHT hand – like a bride presenting a hand to her groom, just like a wife to her husband, allowing him to take her by the hand – with these images came the words – YOU NEED ONLY LET ME TAKE HOLD OF YOUR HAND TO ALLOW ME TO REMIND YOU OF MY CONSTANT COMPANIONSHIP, MY CONSTANT LOVE AND MY CONSTANT CARE – So every time I see J, I am reminded of his love and constant companionship to me, like wise – can you see – he extends his hand to thee

Over the days God brought to me his prepared words and THESE words today that God has brought to you were prepared for you – because he clearly loves you, he dearly cares for you and he wants you to know it, he wants you to hear it and he want you to believe it –ESPECIALLY NOW- and to stretch out your hand to him for he has and now is stretching his hand out to you.

My precious; my precious child, you are my precious ones; you are the ones I most seek after. I have you in my hands, you, I have on my finger, it is you that I constantly think about, – it is you who are constantly in my sight, you, are constantly in my control. Precious and honoured are you in my sight and I love you.

This was given me early 2004…how much more has changed and happened in the world, your church and with yourself since then…and TODAY, what is happening with you – but praise be to God His word is eternal and will never pass away but is set like the sun and the moon in the heavens for you and is accessed by the one who loves you beyond price, who now stands within the veil for you, interceding and making prayer for you.

Hello to all,
Here are some thoughts I have had over the summer put together which hopefully will interest you in this season!

Covenants

Many covenant relationships are going through the fire. I saw many gold rings, very precious and beautiful which represented covenant relationships. They had been taken from fingers and were being thrown into the fire by the Lord. I heard the Lord say that he was refining and purifying our covenant relationships -some were expanding in the heat, some were contracting, some were charred almost black I noticed though that they were forming rings for each of our finger – true mature Ephesians 5 – fold ministry.The Lord wants maturity in our covenant relationships and it is He who is behind at this time. He is the one who decides on this earth who we need to be connected with and how these partnerships fit together. We will come out of the fire purified again but there will be some changes.

Divine Rights of kings

Three times over the summer different people said to me in different settings that there was a real issue over the divine rights of kings to rule. In these historical settings the insistence of various European kings to be regarded as God’s appointed agent, not subject to the laws of the land or any government had led to wars on a vast scale . The surface issue might have historically been the differences of religious beliefs but underneath was a man wanting to be absolute dictator. We need to watch for this in the world and in the Church. God is breaking our shoulders so that the government can be on HIS shoulder. Some strangleholds of power need to go in our lives, churches and nations.

Active Rest

One of my friends received this expression as where we are meant to be at with the Lord at this season. Not passive, not asleep but keeping watch. I heard the Lord say it was like the soldiers who have to come to attention before their commander but where the commander tells them to be “at ease” so that he can talk to them more informally and intimately while they are at rest but still listening and alert to any new orders. We need to obey or we can miss some important instruction at this time. It may come more easily as we rest but it will be much needed.

On the Edge

Fresh prophetic revelation is being released – Rev 10. The angel between the water and the land is releasing scrolls and we need to be aware of a radical change in our mind set about receiving and giving words. Jesus is about to show us that He IS the Word. ( Dream is written in full separately)

Modern Monks

We have been doing much research into past moves of God involving monastic communities – often those who lived on the edge of our world and lived out being in this world but not of it in a real sense on an everyday basis. There are some keys for us here -certainly in Europe.
This is what I heard the lord say about the monks.
“There is a wind and a change of season which will propel you higher and to where you need to be. There are keys in monasticism you need but they need to move further on and further out. There is a race of my followers who will be as salt and light in dark days. They will group together and will camp on the outer limits of where darkness and light come together. They will be the fabric I will use to hold and pull things together. They will truly understand the new and the old wineskins in these days. That old wine was honourable and good but the skins are not for today. The store holder brings out of his treasure things old and new out of his treasure. He display and honours the past but he does not fear the new. “
Manuscripts of old were written on SKINS -they cost. There was sacrifice. New manuscripts will cost too. The rhema word will continue and take up again what was forgotten and lost. New Nazirites to finish the task.

Watch the trade routes

God is about to reveal more than we have thought here. Watch the trade winds –we are going to have to be very sensitive as a window opens to allow us to move in the areas of trade in a new and different manner. We will have to choose whether to change direction or not. The wise virgins took oil at the right time. We need the wisdom to make the right moves at the right time so that we will not be caught out with no supplies when it matters.

Walking the shore line with Jesus

I had a dream recently in which I was walking by the shoreline with Jesus. It was very peaceful with a feeling of the humanity of Jesus and his approachability. We were both barefoot and Jesus was telling me to follow His footsteps attentively. I tried and found that we were walking right at the very edge of the sea. One minute it was on wet sand and the next waves were lapping our feet. We were talking although I have forgotten some of what was said. Jesus was telling me to simplify my life and to stay in the simplicity of the Gospel. I did not feel any rebuke but simply refreshed and drops of water were spraying me from time to time from the waves. The words which came were that the yoke and burdens of Jesus are easy and burden light. I for one have a tendency to make things too complicated. I need a call back to simplicity very regularly.

The angel between the water and the land

At the same time I was aware of angelic presence and heard someone singing the chorus which has the words “Is this your mighty angel who sits between the ocean and the land?” I was aware of a mighty presence there at the water’s edge.
Revelations 10 talks of such an angel;
“Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, robed in a cloud, with a halo like a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, and his feet were like columns of fire. He had a little book open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. “
The chapter goes on to talk of the angel bringing intervention into our time on the earth and of John being told to take and eat the scroll which was in the hand of the angel.
“Then the voice that I heard from heaven spoke again to me, saying, Go and take the little book which is open on the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land. So I went up to the angel and asked him to give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it and eat it. It will embitter your stomach, though in your mouth it will be sweet as honey. So I took the little book from the angel’s hand and ate and swallowed it; it was a sweet as honey in my mouth, but once I had swallowed it, my stomach was embittered. Then they said to me, You are to make a fresh prophecy concerning many peoples and races and nations and languages and kings.”

I AM the Word

I felt in the dream that when this particular angel appears, that one of his roles is to release fresh prophetic revelation. I felt the Lord saying that the season has changed and that the freshness is going to come in a new experiential way. We have been used to giving and receiving words – this is about meeting and experiencing THE Word Himself. It is quite a different thing.

Fresh prophecy

It seemed to me that these verses are going to be very important to those who live on the coasts, the peninsulas and on the islands. John knew the human Jesus but was being prepared to meet the Jesus of Revelation. I had a sense of a new kind of prophetic beginning to hit these areas of the world. New, fresh prophecy being released with a bitter sweet taste to it.  A new experience of Jesus who is able to walk the shoreline with us but who is at the same time Lord of Lords.

Bittersweet Words and Earthy People

What was odd was that at the time of talking to Jesus I had a bitter sweet taste in my mouth .I was eating an orange along with the peel. It was not unpleasant but quite invigorating , just like the spray from the sea – at least in the dream ! Sweet and sour together. Just like the bittersweet scroll.  There are going to be prophetic words which will sting in order to bring sweetness in there. New and fresh and tinged with the humanity and the glory of Jesus.

Words “from the edge “

I heard the Lord saying that this angelic presence would be present to those who walked on the “borderlines”. This angelic presence comes in narrow, tight and at times very uncomfortable circumstances when it is the right time for the scrolls to be revealed. Prophetic people are going to be called here. These people would be living “on the edge”.

I had a series of pictures of this “edge” and the “borderlines”.

The first was the sea shore where you are very obviously between the sea and the land. Peninsulas and islands are close to my heart and came to mind here.
Fresh revelation will come here.

Then I saw again a place near Tekoa in Israel where an early monk and desert father named Haritun had come from Anatolia to found an early monastery.They lived on the borderlines too in caves where animals lived too – right on the edge of what we would call sustainable human life. Right on the edge of desert and arable land. Right on the edge of village life and wilderness. Right on the edge too of what many of us would call sheer eccentricity and sanity. In the world and not of it in a very visible way. In the case of Tekoa in direct contrast too with Herod’s amazing sunken palace on the hill opposite.
More importantly these people lived  right on the edge of the heavenly realm and the visible physical world. Heavenly encounters through their everyday graft and work with the people around them .An open doorway to heaven through their prayer lives. .

Pushing back the darkness

I heard that it was here on these borders that the darkness would be pushed back by those who would pay the price. Huge walls of darkness threatening to invade and overtake the nations and cities.  It will require a discipline and an endurance to live in this borderline place with the Lord.  Whole communities of people walking that narrow line. We see a part with the emerging prayer houses and worship centres . It will become a life style and a life saver for nations.

In our area we would call this a “thin place” – a place where the veils between the physical world we see and the reality of the invisible spiritual realm are very thin. Many are going to be called to this place to receive a heavenly wisdom which will impact the world and the Church. Living here will be a challenge – many have visited this place but we are being called to live here day by day.

Position yourself

We need to be in the right place for Jesus to speak the refreshing word to us. We need to know where he wants us to be. There are many, many borderline places in the physical and the spiritual. We need to be humble as Jesus was in the dream, to be with humble people and to let our lives maybe a lot more narrow that we have been used to. He will keep us in that narrow place and the prophetic word will root in us and go out from that place on the edge  -wherever that place is for you.

Testing of man’s hearts
For some time I have been hearing the same word from the Lord……..

“I am testing the hearts of man. In every area I am testing, testing the motives, and the willingness to be obedient to My voice”.
The times are coming, swiftly, where many will fall way because of the pressures of life, temptations and, because of the persecutions and offences that will arise against My church.
You must be ready and strong in Me, My children, or your hearts will fail.
I am testing ‘platforms.’ The platforms, that have been build in My name are being tested, rocked, shaken, to reveal their true foundations, whether they  have been build by Me or by man’s ambition, because Jesus said, ‘I, will build My church’ and He meant it!
Many good works have started well but, as time has gone by, the platforms have been added to by man, not by Me. These additions have weakened, rather than strengthened, My ‘works’ and so they will fail unless they are refined.
Where man, or ministry, has become more important than Me, I will pull down these false idols, for no man shall steal My glory.
Again I am looking to the hearts of man and there is no fear for those who love Me unashamedly and are willing to humble themselves before Me..

LEADERS
Many of My leaders, in this time, are dealing with major personal problems, in their health and in their relationships. Much of this has come about because of doors that have been left open to the enemy, like competion, control, and unforgiveness.
My Word cannot be taken lightly where a seed is planted there will be fruit.
This is not a rebuke but to bring revelation, so that MY kingdom can be built in My strength not man’s.
I am sending my servants to bring freedom and healing, receive them and their gifts that I am bringing to you, in humility and wisdom. These are tools to overcome the enemy’s plans to kill, steal and destroy My children.

DOORS
At this time I am also opening and shutting many doors. It is a fast work that I will do because the time is short. As a door opens, My people need to be ready to walk through it. These are doors of revelation, opportunity and power. Only those who are looking for Me will see them. Those who are seeking My face and building My kingdom.
In these times of economic crisis the doors of opportunity will be a sign and a wonder to the world, as I show favour to My people. Again I say only those who have eyes to see will see, and  those who have ears will hear.
I am also shutting doors, doors that lead to the past and to old ways. These doors must close so that the new can flow, bringing freedom, to My people.
There are many who are resistant to My Spirit but, My will, will be done because I have ordained a thing, so it will be. Selah.
I seek the hearts of those who are willing to know Me and serve Me in love, not looking for man’s approval but looking to know Me and My heart. Keep your eyes set on My purposes and you will see My Kingdom come here on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Watch the narrow places of the world

Thrones have been tumbling. There is a major shake up going on. This has caused severe congestion on the earth and in the heavenlies. On the earth this has caused a displacement. There is a contesting going on to get through narrow gaps. For God’s people it means taking the narrow path. On the earth places which are already narrow are being highlighted. I saw the Channel, the Straits of Gibraltar and Suez  -there are others. Strange things have been happening since then which we need to link up in order to have understanding  – a meteor shower over the Channel, congestion so heavy that mercy ships headed for Africa via the straits of Gibraltar have been delayed. I am sure there is more.

God is still exposing hidden things

This is still a season for righteousness and holiness and many hearts are being exposed and tested. The motivations of our hearts are laid bare  -the foundations of the earth are being revealed. This will mean shake ups and scandals plus some unusual phonoemena with weather – I cans see rivers and lakes showing their beds and sunken treasures coning to light.

360 degree rainbows

God is coming full circle  -several of us have seen full rainbows. It means the other side of the promise, the completion of things. God’s faithfulness to His people.

Watch the desert places

God is showing the deserts and wilderness places. The highway of holiness is being built here. Be careful how we judge at this time. I heard that God was taking our idols  – including people we put on pedestals. We are going to see some who have fallen being used to build up this highway in the desert. I saw the highway and it was being paved with those who might feel are gone and unusable but God is using them to show the way  -the stones were singing, calling out warnings and encouraging those who wanted to use that highway.

In the nations

Iran  -I have seen the robe of a religious leader being rent. I felt the Lord saying that it means division such as was shown to Jereboam and that all is not what it seems.Way beyond what we see on our TV screens too. Jereboam had to go into exile for a time but then returned to fulfil the prophetic word. I sense there will be whole regions being torn away and exiled leaders returning. Like Jereboam though, there will be attesting of the heart. Jereboam returned to idolatry but could have been  godly leader as it had been prophesied over him.

Pakistan/Afghanistan

A real danger to these nations out in the wilderness is quietly preparing. It has been for years .It is beyond any government’s power to deal with this and needs prayer. In mountain regions I see whole villages who have been sworn to secrecy and enslaved  – too poor to protest and too far from central government to be readily observable. Again there is the side we see in the media and another agenda behind.

France

A time of singing and gladness   -of Jubilee, of Sabbath rest even for many of God’s people but do not be distracted  – keep your eyes on the cleft in the rock. God is doing  some feeding in the wilderness but it is to strengthen you for the times ahead. It is a stopping place and not the final destination. A new commissioning is coming on the nation.

We are having some interesting tales of doors and keys here. Debbie and Paul could no longer get their keys into their locks and wondered why until the Lord told then that the strategies we had been using in this past season are not going to work in this next one. Then the Lord mentioned new doors to me. It was a great idea until the joiner came and condemned our front door and porch as terminally rotten   -my new door is on its way very physically. Don’t know about the porch !
We are being unlocked from our past where we have been frozen and locked up, blocking our pathway forward. In the places where we have been hurt and felt failures it seems as though we have stayed there   – so have the people who were around then. Time to do some unlocking. We cannot confront today if we are still in our minds the little people we were some years back. We cannot have the past back to make it any better but we can ask the Lord to unlock us from our false perception of ourselves. Like the ugly duckling, we might need our brothers and sisters to help us move on from being the ugly little unwanted bird. Time too to let others move on  -it may even be that the people have died but we have locked them in too –right in the place they were when the past hurts and failures occurred. They too have moved on and today we have to deal with a changed playing field.
God is still dealing with our character and showing us that holiness and integrity are more important than anointing or gifts. We have to submit to the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in us to do the work or we will end up condemned and religious. That is not what this season is about.
The whole communications area has been hit by huge displacements as thrones have been tumbling down. The after affects have in the spiritual and the natural blocked up the airwaves and the channels of communication  -it will be a narrow place to come through and will be contested. God has purposed this to bring us through though and we will see our way better after a while.

Cross Fell is the centre of the UK geographically speaking and as such is very strategic. It is the highest point in the Pennines and has views over to the Lakes, Yorkshire, Cumbria and many other places on a clear day.

Our interest on this occasion was to pray over the watershed here located a few minutes down from the summit of the fell. Here the streams either run into the Irish Sea on the west or the North Sea on the east. The Tees and the Eden both start their respective journeys here. We also wanted to pray for East/West relations in the UK and abroad and to pray for spiritual authority in the airwaves over the area. There is a radar station on the top of Dun Fell just opposite on a clear ley line with the summit of Cross Fell.

On the summit we prayed for God’s new season of righteousness to appear – this Passover started a new cycle of 28 years of the sun. Jewish people believe that this was the same position the sun was in at Creation and also at the Exodus from Egypt. This new period marks the time when the Messiah is to return. We prayed to be aligned with Jerusalem and Israel and that there would be change as the sun of righteousness himself begins to rise over the UK.

We felt much new age influence in this area and prayed to take authority over the mixture coming in. A family group from the local area arrived at the summit at the same time as us and began to talk about the education system which is distinctly confused in their local school in matters of religion! There was a feeling of staleness over the immediate area so we prayed that the winds would blow away stale air in the dark corners. A feeling too that this was for churches and for local government.

We prayed for joy to come too on the airwaves and into the hearts of the people of the area. It feels as though much has been robbed and stolen in this area and that people do not know the joy of the Lord at all.

At the watershed line we poured out salt for cleansing of the waters and for a new season to come in the Spirit. As we prayed opposite the radar station here we saw a glider overhead and felt to pray for God’s people to be able to soar on the winds of the Spirit. We prayed for the watchmen and sentinels to be like stealth bombers in the region and for the watchmen anointing to increase. Just as the radar station is supposed to alert the nation’s security systems of intruders we prayed that in the Spirit there would be plenty of watchmen to pick up in the natural realms and in the spiritual any threat and danger to the land. We also prayed to expose sin in high places and to take authority over twisted and perverted communications. We prayed that the ley line would be broken and that the enemy would not be able to pervert and twist and manipulate communications. Thee was also a feeling that the watchmen in the radar stations were missing many things – change is needed here too.

On the way down we met a lady who said she had heard music. We had been sounding the shofars and singing as we went but we felt there was also angelic help. The banners are just beautiful in the open air – we used the joy banner, the wild geese and the goose flying out of the darkness into the light.
We have asked for some signs to encourage us in what we prayed – keep your eyes open because God likes to surprise us!
