The Lord helps us by giving us sign posts at different stages in our journey in order to enable us to make sense of where we are currently, where we are going, and to bring coherence to the things that we are both hearing and experiencing, we understand this as part of the prophetic gift to the church, and as a community of believers we are learning to listen to this prophetic voice, among us and within us. |

A Sunday morning recently was an amazing time...
The Lord started to speak to us about The Secret Place as we just got
lost in worship, lost in HIM.
WOW. Thankyou Lord for you presence, we love to be close to you,
more than all that you do for us, as amazing as that is, it's you that we long for, your beautiful presence...
The amazing thing is that each of us seems to understand what the
Lord was saying in a different way, with different emphasis, yet still about the Secret Place... He speaks to us as unique individuals,
wow.. this is God himself...
yet He knows each of us intimately, and speaks the things that He knows we need to hear...
thankyou Lord that You don't do religion!

Open the Eyes of our Heart Lord
It seems that when the church is open to, and seeking God that there are always different 'models' of church emerging.
Each nation, each culture, each region, each person has a unique history and it is into that unique history that the Lord works and re-creates, over that specific region that the Lord the Holy Spirit hovers to bring life, within that unique life that he comes to abide, so, how could there possibly be one model that fits all...?
History has demonstrated however, time and time again that whenever we think we have it, the moment we begin to think 'this is what church should be like and unless you look like us then you must be in error' ... that at that very point we start to lose the reality that really matters...
His Presence...
Lord, Majesty, keep us from wanting to see creation in our image... keep us from religion, rather, let Christ be formed in us. |

Majesty, we live before you in vulnerability,
in need, always in need...
always hungry for you,
always thirsty for you,
also, we have never travelled this way before!

... within this framework we are understanding ourselves
at this time as an emerging Community of Grace...

Mulberry House as a community of believers in Jesus is supportive of the work of both Patrick Sookhdeo and of the Barnabas Fund. We are part of a network of believers in the Gateshead area working with Barnabas to bring Patrick back to the North East later this year. |
