whatever the weather...!
which seems appropriate considering the current cold season...Now that's not about whether we have been able to get to Mulberry or not, we haven't...
but it's more about keeping our eyes on Jesus whatever happens around us,
and that takes focus...
Dunno about anyone else but that's my heart this year.
To press into all that The Lord has prepared for me.
Revelation 4:1 speaks of a door open in heaven, with an invitation to go up...
I don't want to miss anything that the Lord is doing in this time...

Just recently we did a creative arts day...
we were just trying things that maybe we hadn't done before or simply didn't have the courage to try.
Some of us tried silk banner making, some tried painting
a picture, someone was writing about the day itself, someone else was taking photographs, someone else trying calligraphy...

Open the Eyes of our Heart Lord
It seems that when the church is open to, and seeking God that there are always different 'models' of church emerging.
Each nation, each culture, each region, each person has a unique history and it is into that unique history that the Lord works and re-creates, over that specific region that the Lord the Holy Spirit hovers to bring life, within that unique life that he comes to abide, so, how could there possibly be one model that fits all...?
History has demonstrated however, time and time again that whenever we think we have it, the moment we begin to think 'this is what church should be like and unless you look like us then you must be in error' ... that at that very point we start to lose the reality that really matters...
His Presence...
Lord, Majesty, keep us from wanting to see creation in our image... keep us from religion, rather, let Christ be formed in us. |

Majesty, we live before you in vulnerability,
in need, always in need...
always hungry for you,
always thirsty for you,
also, we have never travelled this way before!

... within this framework we are understanding ourselves
at this time as an emerging Community of Grace...
